The ones that jump out at me are

OAK -3 -105 as a big play

SFO -7 -115 medium

DAL pk and CIN +13 as strong possibilities


Of course I usually wait until Tuesday at Carib (-102 NFL sides) to bet but if they are hanging OAK -3 I will jump on it soon.

i said Oak might be most underrated team in nfl, I think everyone is well aware after today, esp. seeing Pats and Fish lose on rd ... now Im not saying raiders are any lock etc, but I have watched all 3 of their games and am sold on their OFFENSIVE BALANCE... if they stay injury free, they are gonna be a tuff match-up for any solid defense ...

I am not a raider fan, tho I love Rice, so this isnt some slanted opinion ... tomorrow, I will try to find a good odds for them to win afc ...

that said, if the line is -3 and -105, i will buy the half and that will be a nice play .... one caveat, when an NFL team scores +50 they have trouble ATS next game (i did some research on this long ago and it used to be 40, but now that everyone scores 40--like brady anderson hitting 52 dingers--Im not sure this still holds)

If maddox plays QB for Pitt, I might look into them ... their D played well today, they might be scratching back ... If kordell is playing, I will refuse to bet on Pitt again ... Bettis is washed up too from what i can see, Foo and Z should be getting carries ... Pitts wide outs are darn good, just need a chucker (wheres Jethro with the possum fat?)

LOL - No kidding Anders. Even a contrarian will have a really difficult time backing the Bungles now. Just nothing, NOTHING, redeeming about them at all!

PS - I forgot about Tommy Maddox. I agree with the comment above, if Maddox is starting it changes things a lot in the Pitt game.

the giants ????? lol u guys have to be kidding me ....it doesnt matter how bad dallas is they ALWAYS beat the giants and redskins at home.....o yea and dallas aint that bad this yr...they beat a better titans team at home so far this yr......giants go down 2 weeks in a row !!!!!

gotta agree with the cowboys fan. i hate the cowboys but i doubt the giants can win on the road against them. the giants are vastly over-rated this year. barber is not an every down back and dayne is a HUGE bust. shockey is still a rook and adjusting.

dallas can wear down ny with smith and hambrick behind that good OL and catch the young CBs sleeping with Bryant, Galloway and Scott.

btw im a jets fan and the jets suck this year too. both ny teams are crappy

I agree with both Washington and N.O.. Who is Tennessee to be giving six points to any team coming off a bye week?

Bills would look a lot better at 3.5 or 4, but worth a look IMO. Too bad the totals are ripping me a new one this year --- probably be better off just betting the over in evey game.

Just curious to everyone who has picked them....why the Eagles? I think Jacksonville is better than the average person realizes. Seems a bit risky to me to lay a FG on the road in this situation.
