More than likely buying back UNC due to Yates being out.

Akron +10.5 **

NMXST +4 *

A game that I am looking at is the Oreg and Wazzou matchup. In my opinion, Wazzou is in a battle with Cuse, and Army as the worst team in the country. No line has come out on this game, as each team is banged up with both teams are basically down to their 3rd or 4th team QB's. I would like to get some opinions on this game from the west coast fans, as to if they feel that Oreg will just run this team out of the stadium.

MC,
Stay hot brother... good luck this weekend. I think Paulus will do more in the UNC offense he is a good player with the same size and a good arm.

Cheers

MC,

I live in Washington so I've seen every Wazzu game this year and you are absolutely, 100% correct about how bad they are. Aside from the staggering lack of talent, they have a new coach trying to implement a new system and there is no cohesion on that team whatsoever. Did you happen to see the Cal game? They lost 66-3... AT HOME. They beat Portland State last week, but, unless they can pull off an upset at Hawaii in the last week of the season, that might very well be their only W of the season.

Having said all this, I don't think I could lay almost 3 TDs on the road with Oregon given their QB issues. Also, IMO, this could be a hangover type of game for the Ducks. They lost at home last week to Boise and now they go on the road to play a team they know they should beat easily. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lack of focus from them next week.

Lastly, in the interest of full disclosure, I have to say I hate betting road faves in college football. So there may also be some of my own personal bias in there.

Nice job so far and good luck with your plays.

I'm just not sure what to make of the Zips yet. Two wins over Cuse and Army do little to make me think that they are getting better. I actually thought that they played fairly well in the two losses. They moved the ball very well Vs. Ball St and could have beat them without all the turnovers. They also held their own at Wisconsin despite being seriously outclassed.

One thing to note is that they are decimated on the D line. They are down to the 4-5 spot on the depth chart. I think that they will have a tough time stopping the run and getting any pressure to Pike. Chris Jacquemain started off well but has been turning it over again, so for the Zips to cover Jacquemain needs to take good care of the ball.

Best of luck this week !

Bought back UNC, I know the backup was highly rated coming out of high school, but a road game against a solid Miami defense.

Marshall +16*

Ill +14.5**
ILLINOIS is 8-1 ATS (+6.9 Units) when playing against a top-level team (Win Pct. > 75%) over the last 3 seasons.

MAC experts tell me this.....I know Eastern Mich sucks and they cost me a big win last saturday, but how is NILL a TD favorite over them on the road when the Huskies starting QB is doubtful?

Thats a situation to watch closely. NIU has 2 pretty good QBs but with Harnish out and Nicholsons gimpy shoulder bothering him the Huskies could be in trouble. I'm sure that they will try hard to get Nicholson out there, but even so they will probably attempt to limit his throws by grinding it out on the ground.

Eastern is not as bad as some of their scores would make it appear. Their biggest problem has been hanging on to the ball and giving up long TD's ( 5 or 6 of 20yds or better in their last couple games)

Could be a promising spot for both the dog and an under play, but I'll hang on until I know the status of Dan Nicholson before doing anything at all.

No not really, I had OSU circled to start the week and I think they should really roll over the Gophers, but going to pass.

Im down here near Greenvilel South Carolina watching the Gaffney and Byrnes football game. I think I have been drinking way too much of the Clemson Kool-Aid the past two days, but I am going to go with the vibe that I am getting from the locals and play Clemson-10.5. Pretty excited to get to watch the game tomorrow at Clemson stadium.

Clemson-10.5*

the man's pocket!
MC,

I love ya buddy and I always follow you. I live in Maryland and cannot call a Terp game to save my life but do like Clemson this week. Givn my poor record on Maryland games though, I must inquire as to how many beverages you have had because you already posted Clemson! :mj06: Are you adding to that play and upgrading to a ** play, thanks.

I would not expect the locals to think the Tigers would lose, but just remember those same people expected their season to go a lot differently. :scared
