Where it is real F ing COLD
Minnesota opened as a 10 point favorite over the Rams.. According to the site that I use 99% of the Public has jumped on the VIKINGS and the spot goes down to 9.5.. I smell a dirty rat here. The Vikes should kick their ass. The Rams have been putrid and AP has been held in check of late.. AP has to have a BIG GAME right???

I'm not betting it and I am advising everyone to stay away from my Vikes on this one. For one they are coming off a Monday Night emotional game. Secondly the O - Line is a little bit nicked up. Third the secondary showed some weakness. On the other side the Rams have showed NOTHING all year and you know they are going to make a game at some point this year. Why this week? Why against my Vikings?? Because the Vikings do this to me at least once or twice every year. Its just what happens.. If the Vikings lose this game I will puke and I wouldn't be shocked..

Thats the problem wth being a purple homer.

you don't see the opportunity to take the Rams and the points.

I am not advising anyone to put any hard earned $$$$ on the Rams either... I just don't trust my Vikes.. I couldn't bet against my team ever again. i did it once about 2 years ago.. KC - 3.. Had to root against my team all day and it made me sick. To piss me off more it ended in a push.. I put a dime on it and then I was even more pist for not buying down to 2.5.

I just have an idea now.. Take St. Louis ML for about $100 that way if the Vikes lose I can colllect a little over $300 or so.. After I am done puking... Cause I would gladly give up the $100 for a Vikes win.

I really have trouble wrapping my brain around that kind of logic.

you either have to be a fanatic for your team or win money ?

its a easy decision for me

why do you care so much ? Maybe you can explain it to me.

whats in it for you ?

how does it make your life better ?

Really can't explain it.. I can handle the Vikings losing to most teams, not Green Bay and a St. Louis loss would be tough to deal with. Yes I am that much of a fanatic. How it makes my life better?? I have been asking myself that for over 30 years?   I need football counseling. Well here is one explanation for it... If I could lose 100 per week to guarantee a Vikes win for one season, that would put them at 19 - 0 including the Superbowl.. Cost me about $1900, WOULD BE WORTH IT TO ME. I GOT PROBLEMS..:scared :scared :scared

wow just wow

at least your honest about it.

I have to admit I used to be the same way about the Falcons. For many years I lived and died with them. They sucked so bad. They always dissappointed me.

There was a turning point for me. The Falcons were leading Dallas Cowboys. It looked like we were going to win. Then at the last minute , we lost. Again.

Gradually I went through withdrawals . I still watched them, I just didnt care as much if they won or lost.

Today I count myseld as a homer to no team.

I just want to win the money. Thats all its about for me now. And at times that gets old too.

Bleed

Here is a big test for you and I doubt you can do it.

Pick out one game the Vikings are playing before the end of 2009 and decide not to watch it.

Dont follow the score. Dont watch it. Just do something else that day. Get so involved in something else that you pass one game by.

It cant be the bye week.

That won't happen unless something very traumatic happened. If they were bad I could do it. Plus I don't get upset if they lose when they are bad.. When i know or think they are good then it pisses me off.. I get over it quick.. When I was a kid it would take me a long time to get over..

About 4 years ago the Vikes were 5 - 10 and playing St. Louis at home.. I told my buddy (who I always watch the game with) lets go fishing instead.. He didn't want to miss the last game of the season.. Vikes lost like 44 - 10...

:director: BP Don't do it!!! Fawk Scott. Right now you have a living legend Qb'ing your team. Live, breath, and shit purple brotha. If by chance Favre takes your team to the promised land, it could be 20 years before it happens again. Favre took my green and gold there, and now I am stuck wandering the tundra wasteland. But we were there, and thats all that counts. weeee weeeeeerrrree theeerrrrrreeeeee

I had the same type of reaction when I saw the Vikings being a road fav of 10 pts...I thought could this be a trap since they are coming off an emotional MNF matchup.

But after thinking it over...the Vikings O-Line will dominate which will create holes for Peterson which will allow Favre time to pick apart the Lambs secondary.

Plus...the Vikings defensive front should dominate the Lambs O-Line...and last but not least...Kyle Freaking Boller :scared will likely get the start for the injured Marc Bulger.

After further review:

The Vikings will win, and probably cover.

That was the left hf of my brainial cavity speaking, otherwise known as the homer hf. Now the right hf says, anytime you lay 10 points in the NFL, you are in for a stressful sunday. I do like your play on San Fran -2.5. Do you have any local media news to back the play up. How are the coaches/players/media responding to the early season success in San Fran? I only ask as I'm on OT at work and don't have time to capp. I'm looking at teasing Minn -2.5 / Pitt -3 / Balt -1 for +100 or even $$$. I also like colts -3 and Pats -3 , got them early in the week and played them small.

IMO this line move one way rather then the other is all about getting RAM$$$$ and MINNY backers
2nd guessing.
I am making this my largest play of the year to date

MINNY -9.5
They win by 3 scores if all the starters stay in this game

BOL to all!!!
