As of right now, I lean to Oregon -7. Stanford is missing their best WR Evan Moore and their starting QB Edwards is going to play hurt. I see a solid 10pt win for Oregon, maybe more. What prevents me from backing Oregon is their red zone offense. If Oregon scores TD's they cover easy. But I can't count on them. I also don't know the physical health and state of mind of Oregon players after playing USC. I know they put everything they got into playing USC so not sure how they play against Stanford. That and their red zone offense prevents me from making Oregon a play. I agree with you, the 7pt spread seems low to me.

AR182's post wasn't a bash nor did I take offense to it. What I think he was saying is people usually only post records when they have a winning record to brag about. I'll post my record whether I am up 15k or down 15k. I am not afraid to be held accountable for my actions. I have tooted my horn after winnings thousands and I have always come after losing thousands.

Thanks for the pick and for positive comments. I think I am a likable person but with a strong opinion. I think people take things to serious on this board. But my comments about USC isn't crap. In all honesty, almost everything I say about USC turns out to be true! So maybe it is not crap! Annoying might be the better word! :lol:

Actually the only team in the Pac 10 I cap well is USC. I am not a Pac 10 guru. I think it is a tough conf. to cap because of so much parity. I look at the entire card and I cap games based on my own knowledge and from other peoples opinions. That is why I enjoy when others post analysis. It not only helps me that week, but helps me weeks later! Then I try and post why I like a play so you can see why I am making it a play. Unfortunately I am down 30 units at the moment so things are not going as expected. Just not a good start at all. I felt 90% confident in UL last week and would still bet the same amount I did. Why? Because that is how I got my current bankroll. Betting huge on games I felt 90% confident on. The result on Sat was UGLY but my results from the last 3+ years have been outstanding. Have to take the good with the bad. Could have been a monster week for the ages with Angels winning west and if my entire card on Sat. flipped around. Just might not be my year! Lets see where I end the season at. I postetd in that WTF thread my BIG losses in my lifetime. I seemed to have rebound nicely from all of them. Might take USC winning the NC to rebound! But I'll give it a shot with 3 months (Oct. Nove. & Dec.) of handicapping the CFB season! Lots of games left! 2-5 units profit each week and in not time I'll be tooting my horn!

Got a late start capping this week. Looking at a bunch of games now. I am close to pulling the trigger on East Carolina and Maryland.

BTW, UL losing outright to S. Florida did help my USC futures wager. So I at least could find a "small" positive in that disaster of a game! :flush:

Scott, u may know a lot about USC, but just remember I know alot about Hawaii. I tried to save you last week, but instead you chose to pound Idaho even more. Not so certain about Hawaii this week though, but my lean is on them.

As for your picks, don't know about your Rutger's play. Pitt has been flat lately, but I think they still have something in them to be a good team. Rutgers also seems to falter in games. Here are some teams I'm looking at playing and maybe you might agree. Colorado, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Florida, and Michigan State, and Oregon. Got leans on UTEP and Texas.

and it takes no balls to come into a guy`s thread and rip him....

most of this stuff is more about beating one`s own chest than helping anyone...it`s like "lord of the f-cking flies"...lol

regardless,i like reading the posts....and exchanging with the level headed on the board..

this is absolutely the best board i`ve found on the net...with more decent guys than most...

guys are gonna tout there own teams...you learn to stay away from that stuff...it`s on every board....and usually,it`s worthless...i always look for guys that think that their team WON`T cover....

Don't think I'll do any write-ups this week. It is just not in me. But I really love Rutgers tonight. Love their QB, RB, WR duo. I expect this to come through. East Carolina I was going to put 2 units +8 and 1 unit ML but figure I just make it 3 units +8. I expect them to win outright.

I was looking hard at Maryland but talked myself out of it. Now that the USC line has gone down, I might make my first USC wager of the year. But not a huge one. I also like Michigan St. and V-Tech.
