Leans I have this week...

Virginia +7 UVA has 2 wins over lesser opponents this year but impressed me with a hard fought game at USC... FSU on the other hand has played a much tougher schedule... With that being said the Seminoles go on the road again next week to Miami... and we all know about that rivalry... FSU wins but this will be a close game...

Clemson +4 Clemson has had 2 week to prepare for this game and is the conference home opener... Miami looked good last week at Pitt however, as I mentioned earlier, the Noles come to town next week... I think this will be a defensive game and Clemson pulls the upset at home

Kentucky +2- UK looked terrible last week while Ole Miss looked impressive on offense... Ole Miss is pretty banged up right now... Losing Lockett hurts... I think you see a better showing from UK this week... Should be a high scoring affair

LSU -16 A little scared to lay this much chalk but UT is in for a long year and this being their first road test will probably end up like MSU did on their first road test... FAIL... LSU is miserable on offense but I think they will have success against the Vols and LSU holds big advantages on D and ST...

Texas +4 I like the fact that Texas is the better defensive team in this match up... Yes Texas just got embarrassed at home but that was the classic sandwich game and Texas turned the ball over 5 times... 4 fumbles 1 INT... I mean there's why UCLA won... But Texas will take care of the ball this week and BEAT... yes I said beat... Oklahoma... OU on D is terrible... they have the better offense but I think Texas D will have stop them

Michigan -10 I really like Mich and their offense... Robinson is unreal... The Hoosiers haven't faced anyone yet and will have all kinds of trouble on defense stopping Mich...

Georgia Tech -10 I think GT bounces back this week after an embarrassing performance at home... Not to mention WF has all kinds of trouble stopping the run... 112th in total D... 90th in rush D... 117th in pass D...

Alabama -9 Having a hard time understanding why Bama is favored by this much... Bama was lucky to escaped Arky with a W... but good teams have luck on their side... Fla demolished UK and looked like the old Fla offense.... I think Fla struggles this week and the Tide Rolls... Bama by 2 TD's

Stanford +7 I really like this Stanford team... I think they are solid team on both sides of the ball... 24th on Off and 12th on Def... I think this will be a very close hard fought game... Stanford will really have their hands full with Oregon's speed

Nevada -20 This is a good and well balanced team... Kaepernick is an incredible athlete who can beat you with his arm and legs... UNLV struggles on D and I don't think they will give Nevada much trouble...

Thurs Night Lean:
A&M and over

Fri Night Lean:
Utah St

Some good reasoning Corley...btw, what position does Lockett play for Ole Miss? I'm thinking Ole Miss offense has got to be licking their chops, but the Gators have/had so much speed! Defending Florida was kinda like having to defend a good option attack and good passing attack also. Thinking over like you.

Thursday Night Breakdown

This is the conference opener for both teams and it looks to be a good one... Both teams are 3-0 and need this game if they want to make a run at winning the Big 12 South... The line is currently OK St -3... which has dropped a half point and the public is OK St from what I'm seeing... So already we have reverse line movement...

OSU Offense vs. A&M Defense
Ok St has put up video game like numbers on offense so far this year and boast the nation's #1 offense... which is why I think they are getting so much love... other than the fact that they are playing in Stillwater... But if you look at who they've played you will see their opponents are currently 109th, 113th, and 117th in total D :scared With that being said the Aggies bring in the nation's 10th ranked Defense... But if you look at their opponents... or the two that are FBS... they are 76th and 88th in total offense... So it's kinda hard to see how they will match up on paper... However I do think OSU will have trouble with A&M's D and won't put up big numbers...

A&M Offense vs. OSU Defense
A&M brings in the nation's 9th ranked offense while OSU has the 79th ranked defense... While one can argue that A&M's might be a little inflated since they haven't played anyone good... one can also say OSU's defensive numbers might be a little low since they have played the 5th and 14th ranked offenses... Either way A&M will move the football with the experienced QB...

My prediction is a physical game that goes under the total... 27-24 Texas A&M

Corley, be careful. I've watched every game A&M has played vs this offensive scheme and outside of last year(bad year for Tech with Potts and Sheffield going back and forth) they haven't defended it well.

Okie State is running the exact offense and are doing it with the OC that a lot of people in Lubbock consider the real brains behind all of the big offensive numbers Tech put up. Dana Holgorsen did it at Tech and then put up the same numbers in Houston. The reason it has success against mid level teams is because they pick on your 4th and 5th best cover guy in man to man and playing zone against it without 4 awesome d linemen is almost impossible.

I don't think Okie State can stop A&M but I know for sure Okie State will score big especially at home. I think the teams are close to even on talent but the home field advantage is too big.

Good luck on your play.

If I'm not mistaken A&M's DC used to be at Air Force and if Ok St is running the same offense as Houston then I like A&M a lot more... Remember how Houston has fared against Air Force the past few times they played them? Now I'm not saying Ok St won't move the ball or score but I think A&M still wins

Yes, Air Force's old DC is now at A&M.

hope to see Alabama rising from its previous game where they looked like a lesser team,at least not a number one team, and Florida surely looked like a team with inspiration this last week, so if to give 9 or take 9 is a Q...i'll take 9 anytime

Well look at it like this... on a neutral field I would say Bama is at least 5 points better... now put them in Bryant-Denny Stadium and I say Bama is 11-14 pts bettter.... Florida looked good last week but that's just it... they've only looked good once... Bama on the other hand didn't look as dominant last week against Arky but did look impressive how they held their composure and pulled out a W in a hostile environment... I think Bama's secondary grew up a lot last week against a great passing attack... Florida's passing attack is not as good and Bama will put a lot pressure on Brantley... I think they want you to think that this line is a gift for Florida but I think it's actually a gift for Bama...
