Season Record updated**: 46-44-1 (51.1%)

Going to play these for sure....

Vandy +7.5 loss

HUGE victory for the Tigers last week and I smell letdown city....Haven't been that great prior to last week anyway...

Ok State +7 (-130) win

Always plas A&M tuff and has the offensive fire power to hang with anyone.

Temple +3.5 win

Holy s**t! I'm betting Temple.:scared Believe it or not, this team is playing some good football. NIU not as good as in recent years and don't be suprised if the Owls win this one straight up.

Baylor +8.5 loss

Again, another case of letdown. Colorado comming of the emotional win over Oklahoma will have a hard time getting up on the road this week.

Kansas +3.5 (-115) win

Same angle as above. It's so very hard to keep the mojo going after a huge win. Now K state faces their in state rival.

Illinois -1 (-135) win

System play / homer play for me! Always take the unranked home favorite over the ranked powerhouse. A bit suprised the Illini haven't cracked the top 25 with just 1 loss against Missouri and a win over Penn State.

Tennessee -.5 win

See above system play....

Good Luck everyone....

Thursday Night and One more for Saturday..

Over 57 Kentucky/South Carolina win

Top ranked pass defense or not, the Wildcats are an offensive machine scoring at least 42 points in each game thus far. And let me tell you about Chris Smelley...This kid can move it down field with the best of them. Many on this forum think the Old Ball Coach will play keep away with the run, but my gut tells me he knows he will have to out score these guys to get the win.

Florida Atlantic +17 (-120) win

Only the 2nd road game for South Florida with UCF on deck next week. The score did no justice for how this team played at Kentucky last week. A very hostile environment to boot. Think the home crowd keeps them within the number.

Good luck Players...

So Cal
Colorado beat OU not Nebraska.
I do agree with a letdown here.

Best of luck this weekend

Good Luck Mully. Tough call on Illinois vs Wisky. Both are in potential let down situations. Would be very hard for me to take Wisky with Illinois favored.

As bad as the Hawkeyes have looked I think they keep it within a touchdown and might have a shot at the win. They always struggle with the spread offense so this line is a little inflated due to the Indiana game last week. I see the game being similar to Iowa vs Wisconsin from a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the take on Iowa..I might look into that one. They've just been so damn hard to figure. Say what up to Eli for me.

1-0 for the week...

Friday Night action...

Utah +17 (-140) win
Over 61 (-130) win

I see mostly 15.5 out there. One of my books offered the17 points layin more juice. I took it. Like the Utes either way. The Cardinals have had some real issues on the defensive side of the ball. If Utah can put up 40+ on UCLA, they should be able to move the ball up and down the field this evening. We should see plenty of offensive spark out of L-ville in the friendly confines of Papa John as well. My guess is the home team should wind up winning this thing by 10-14 points in a high scoring affair.

Good Luck everyone...

Agree totally with your take on the Hawkeyes this week, IowaFats. Iowa can't defend the spread but JoePa still thinks its the 1950s so the Penn State offense won't do anything we can't stop.
Iowa +the points is a big play for me tomarrow, as well as a small wager on the ML. If you held a gun to my head and told me I had to wager on the Wisky/Illinois game I'd take Wisky, but since I don't see no guns...

Good luck this weekend Mully. Have to go to an outdoor, formal wedding tomarrow afternoon and its supposed to be 90 freakin' degrees!

Did a bunch of capping last night and the wedding isn't until 3:30 PM, so think I'm alright there. Got a call from one of the groomsmen last night and they have a 'TV room' set up at the reception hall for us to catch the end of the Iowa game and all of the Ohio State/Purdue game....:00hour

adding this one

adding this one

Iowa +8.5 loss

After some consideration and insight from Iowa Fats and redsfann , decided to pull the trigger. The Hawkeyes have been such an up and down team this season. I'm banking on them being up for this one. Iowa has been cashing against public money all season long....

looking at a couple more...

last 2 plays for the week...

Over 67 Nebraska/Missouri (-130) loss
Offensive power and play calling on both sides and less than average defenses.

Stanford +41.5 (-120) win

No doubt USC rolls here, this is just too many points. I look for the dogs to be called off in the 4th quarter.....

GL !

GO ILLINI!!:00hour
