BALT -3 -115 * Single Play *
KC -3 ** DOUBLE PLAY **
Gruden should have his team fired up to beat on in state rival Dolphins, and after dropping their first game of the year, BUCS will want to punish someone and MIAMI is it. Problems at QB will plague PHINS in this one, despite the return of RICKY... the Cadillac returns this week and he'll show BROWN and RICKY who the #1 back in this game is.
Despite last week's meltdown, I'm backing BALT this week. No way they can play that bad again and with a week of having RAY LEWIS in your face, I see BALT coming out of the gate RAVEN mad here. I know DILFER has some things to prove, but a few of these guys on DEF were here when TRENT took them to the promised land and will know his tendencies. I'll side with RAY & CO vs DILFER and a depleted offense due to injuries.
CHIEFS get ROAF back and that is huge. Also with TONY G being without a TD so far, look for GREEN to find him early and often in this one. WASH has a great defense, but KC just has too many weapons to stop at ARROWHEAD. SKINS may cover the number for the game (IF Brunnell goes nuts in 2H), but I'm not looking for them to be too close at HT. CHIEFS lead by double digits at the break....
On the teaser plays, like the CHIEFS to win at home where they are traditionally very strong. ROAF's return is much bigger than most think.
CINC/TENN should be a fun game to watch as this one will go down to the wire I feel. CHOW's system showed good promise for the offense last week for TENN, and PALMER/CHAD should be good for a score or two. This one hits 50 with ease in my opinion.
PITT should be focused on running the ball and controlling the line and the clock in this one. With BIG BEN and WARD questionable at best, I expect PARKER and da BUS to do a lot of running today. JAX is having trouble running the ball with TAYLOR being shaky so far, so look for them to try and throw the ball some more. Unfortunately, they are facing the defense of the STEELERS and will not be able to do much. It wouldn't surprise me to see this one end in the twenties. 17-10 sounds about right.
Talked about BALT already, but didn't mention the total. This game should be a war, and I'll look for RAY LEWIS to take care of business today.
TBAY was also covered above. Can't see the PHINS winning this one on the road vs BUCS. IF they do, it'll be late by a FG at best.
Good luck! :SIB
