Very anxious to see what gets posted as the opener here. I think this game may get into the 100's, and I am serious.

I am guessing the number to be 81.

Eighty-freakin-one!

And I will play the over probably all the way up to 84 or so.

Rice is 25-4 to the over for the last 3+ years over L29 posted totals. Both Owls and Golden Hurricanes' offenses are excellent, and neither Defense can stop anyone.

Just played Rice/N Tex Over 69, and it was 21-14 after 1 Q, and went over with 4 minutes left in the second quarter, ending the half at 56-20, and the final was 77-20. Yes, Rice got the 70 by themselves.

In week 4, the total was 69 in Rice/Texas, and the result was one of Rice's 4 unders in the last 3.5 years, in part due to Rice coming up with 0 points on a first and goal at the 2, with 11 ( ELEVEN!) shota at the goal, thanks to two def. PI calls. Final 52-10.

Thoughts, anyone?

OK
Okla Baylor should be high scoring also (OU defense holds the number down), OSU TX A&7M too looks like a high scoring game (Okla State has not ran anything but base plays so far, offense has not been opened up yet)

waiting for posted totals on all of the OKLA teams

BTW, the last two contests between these two were:
48-43
41-38

Avg of 85.0

Also:

* Over is 27-3 in RICE last 30 games on turf.
* Over is 7-1 in RICE last 8 games in October.
* Over is 23-4 in RICE last 27 conference games.

And Tulsa LW won 62-34 v Cen Ark, Div II, scoring one less TP than the Rice/NoTex game.

Note:

The Rice/NoTex final of 77-20 was also the score at the end of 3Q, so it could have been much worse.
