Think I'm gonna play a couple future wagers

Not sure which one I like most:

Ohio st to win it all

Louisville to win it all

Clemson to win it all

Haven't check any books yet, but going to see if any offer conference wagers to win the title game.

Anyone know of this?

I know prior to the year they had SEC to win title vs the field

Id love to take the field at this point. If there was ever a year for the SEC and its colege football dominance to end, it would be now...

Bama has work to do. Lsu/georgia both trying to find an identity with these young defensive units. Georgia has played a unreal schedule early, but man they have given up a shit ton of points....SEC is still the best without a doubt IMO, but I finally think the top tier teams from other conf. Could hang with these sec teams.

Hell. Yes.

The huskies will be ready for this game. Without a doubt, the Oregon game is the Superbowl and a W against Stanford means college gameday at home against the ducks to show off the new stadium and finally end the 9 year drought. That game will be twice as special if they beat Stanford. They will.

Go Dawgs.

lookin hard at UW ML

and yes, like PSU a lot here.

Obrien with an extra week. young qb on road makes me slightly nervous, but hoping he is just as poised as he is athletic.

Addict - you're one of the best cappers on here and I rarely disagree, but you're underestimating how good Stanford is. I believe they will lay it on Washington as they did to Washington State. Stanford is too physical for Washington. If they beat Oregon they win national championship.

I agree with you on Stanford. They are extremely well coached. I don't know about National Title, but they are a very good team.

honestly I love Stanford and what their program is

hard nose, tough kids who absolutely play the game right.

I think they are a top 10 team in the country for sure

but it is so hard to go unbeaten. so hard....

even harder to cover the spread everyweek.

this Stanford team will not continue to blow teams out every week. eventually the talent is close enough, where a bad bounce and next thing you know its the 4th quarter and you are down 7....

I am not saying this is the logic I used to come up with the pick, just discussing how hard it is to make national title games and have undefeated seasons...

I have this game almost as a pickem.

add in the fact, that over 70% of the gambling world is betting tthat Stanford covers a TD at home for sure, and ill take the chances....

Elway you are always a good guy around here...keep addin in your input man I like hearin all opinions before making a decision....

same to you kk

honestly though, I think vegas could've opened this line at 10.5 and got even money. the fact that they opened at less then a TD at some places really says a lot.....at least IMO

I always try to remember, it isn't about which team will be better on the year, but which will be better that weekend. Stanford should easily finish better then UW....doesn't mean UW doesn't beat em this week.....all about matchups and how coach's utilize them :toast:

I hear you. Certainly Washington may win the game outright.

My analysis is 80% computer numbers and 20% intangibles. My computer numbers show Stanford as a pretty big fav, but who knows.

That's why we play the game. I'm sure it will be a dog fight.

I enjoy the discussion.

Stanford could easily beat nearly any team by 20 if they play like they are capable. problem is, hard to do it every Saturday even more so when UW has some real talent

Hopefelly you get a lesser number on Stanford and we push :toast:

I feel like I'm obligated to chime in here.. This is not the same husky team we've grown accustomed to. They have weapons at every position on offense and have more than a few playmakers on D. I know this sounds lame but I think they have the best punter in the country which I guarantee you will have an impact on Saturday..

On top of that Sark and Wilcox are coaching their asses off. I have to enjoy this D while it lasts because Wilcox is a head coach next year plain and simple (if sark goes to USC i won't lose any sleep over hiring Wilcox in his place).

These next 2 games are the most important games the huskies will play in the past decade. I am fully expecting a win. Stanford has the worst homefield advantage in the PAC 12. This sets up perfectly

Wash I think sark will be in USC next year. But you shouldn't miss a beat with the right hire....talent is plentiful there right now...

not very much to be excited about for rest of the year.

hackenburrrrrg does give ya some signs of a future star, but cant rely solely on a frosh QB to make us competitive each and every week
