Hey Jord!! Good luck this week Bud- You know I always enjoy coming into your thread and see who youa re on. I think you are a solid Handicapper (as you know) and feel you have been on the right side of several games that just didn't go your way.
I think this is a tough week for sure!! Just wanted to add a couple comments if you don't mind...
1) As you know I am a die-hard Cowboy fan- I wont be playing the game with the line- just may play Dallas to win Outright. these games are always close regardless of record. I definitely think Dallas Wins this game. Helps that Austin will be back- but they have had some brutal losses- and this team is made up of some high quality "Team" players in Sean Lee, D- Ware, Hatcher, Witten etc. It always comes down to Romo- but don't think he has a 4th quarter collapse- at least I hope he doesn't. If I had to bet the line- I would probably take Wash and the points as I do think the game will be close- I do like Dallas to win and get back to 3-3
2) Outside of my Cowboys- my 2 favorite players in the league are JJ Watt and Andrew Luck. I think it is not fair to say Indy D hasn't been tested? They played both SF and Seattle thus far and won both games. They also played Miami whose D isn't too shabby either. I am not saying Indy wins- but to say Indy D hasn't been tested- I really don't agree with that?
3) The Saints/Pats game is a tough one and one I will be staying away from for sure so I wish you luck and actually hope Saints loose as long as Jimmy Graham has a good game for my Fantasy team. HA! From a betting stand point- my nemesis is always the Pats as I find myself on the wrong side all the time and have learned my lesson to stay away. I was leaning to Saints in Jack's ML contests but I cant do it. My only point is that I thought the Saints would have a tough time going on the road to Chicago last week- where they played outside on the grass and away from their dome stadium. I bet Chicago and Saints won that game. Yes, this is back to back weeks on the road- but this team has proven they can go on the road, play outside in a tough environment and get a win as they showed last week. Again...hope you Win as I would like to see Saints loose a game already- just my 2 cents!
For what it is worth- I like both Carolina and Pitt plays and will be on them as well so good luck to us!! :0074 :0074
Thanks, man. I always appreciate your insight - especially on Dallas. Yeah, that was a tough one for me to put in. This was just one of those 'feel' plays. Washington always seems to score big on Dallas. I like the over here too. I think the Skins finally put a good whole game together. They have had the extra week to both prepare and get healthy. RG3 will be back after Sunday. Dallas coming off a draining shootout and devastating loss. Dallas D has been flat horrible.
Indy's D.... Let's throw Jax out the window. They held Oak to 17 - fine. They lost to a mediocre Miami O and gave up a ton to Seattle. Ok, so let's give them an impressive performance again SF (although SF offense was horrible up until their feel good performance against the rams)
Indy's run D has been pretty porous too even given all that. SD is going to light them up. Will be on tt over too.
LOVE the Pats this week. Yes, this was a similar spot for Saints last week, but don't let that scare you. The fact that they have to go do it again, makes this one even juicier. That Saints win got us under the 3 here! The Bears D is a mess right now. Paper thin, and injuries making them a prime target for a team like the Saints. The Pats D, on the other hand, has been surprisingly staunch. Would be VERY impressive for Saints to come in here and walk away with a W... i don't see it.
