UCF -3.5 over Cinncy **
Should be a great Friday nite game...Cinncy destroyed a decent Marshall team 52-14...already played a big time team in Ohio St... CF lost a game already so it can't afford another loss...needs a win and big score for their " end of the yr report card"..but for 2 years they went 12-0 and still I think were rated 7th or 8th in the college playoffs..think the Nites are a little more athletic and a lot quicker...good frosh qb and some nice rb's...UCF had 607 yds vs UConn last week and then let a back door cover letting Huskies score 2 td's in the final 6 minutes....think tonite on national tv they can showcase a little....but will still be left out of the final 4 ... back tomorrow with FIU,Oklahoma,Maryland and a few more.

Maryland -13.5 over Rutgers ****
Both teams were blown away last week...Nites coach Ash fired with off coord just like I said would happen...RU qb is still the worst qb in the country and even though his stats looked good he only passed to his backs for short yardage..Carter is still out with concussion problems..how does Rutgers respond to Ash firing.. he was well liked but was over his head from the start...to me its makes no difference how the team responds..they still have no pass rush, no tight end,wr's that get no separation,OL that is below avg and a qb who is a pocket passer and not accurate..in lasts game vs Maryland Sit was 2-16 for 8yds and 4 interceptions ..thereonly real stength is Blackshear at halfback and Pacheco ..so teams can stack the box and Rutgers can't get any 1st downs... Terps have Jackson at qb..he has been inconsistent but he should have all the time in the world today...they did beat Cuse 63-20 but then lost to Penn St 59-0...terps do have a few rb's in McFarland and Leake and some decent wr's in Demus and Jones..they have 12 rushing td's and Rutgers defense can't stop anybody...look for Terps to take out there 59-0 Penn St blowout on Rutgers..new coach isn't helping this team Rutgers team...

Ok St -10.5 over Texas Tech ***
With the leading rb in the country and top wr and a decent qb think Raiders are in trouble..they lost there qb and back up will have problems... like the Pokes here today .. Sanders,Hubbard and Wallace..they have maybe 2 of the best rb's and wr's in the B-12..

Auburn -3 over Florida **
So much info on this game in the swamp...just think Auburn is a little better overall despite frosh qb..

Notre Dame -45.5 over Bowling Green **
Think this is a 56-0 game...
Boston Col +6.5 over Louie **

West Vir +11 over Texas **
Texas defense is questionable talent wise Longhorns are so much better..but on the road think Mountaineers can keep this close

FIU -26.5 over UMass *****
Mass beat Akron . Mass cannot play defense ..though..think FIU blows them out big time

Oklahoma -31.5 over Kansas ***
OU off to the races KU has surprised a few with a win here and a close game there...but with Les miles coaching there is the " no mercy " rule in effect for OU....congratulations Les....now welcome to the B-12...blowout.

Iowa +3.5 over Mich *
To many people are on Iowa...small play because Harbough can't beat anybody that is decent but at home with thee backs to the wall they scare me..small lean

Eastern Mich -6.5 over Central Mich **
Memphis -14.5 over UL Monroe **
UAB -9.5 over Rice **
Oregon st +5.5 over UCLA **
Pitt +4 over Duke ++
Tulsa +13 over Smoo**

Tulane -2.5 over Army **
Tough game to handicap..both teams run options one runs from a spread the other from the wish ...tulane has some speed and Army has won 15 straight at home .. Army's qb is starting but Hopkins is banged up...Army has not played its A game except vs Michigan...but they won big over Morgan St last week but but really struggled..they have had 8 turnovers already and watching them beat Rice 14-7 at home shows me this isn't the same team as last yr.. Tulane has some speed and can score...both coach come from Ga southern where they learned the option..think Willie Fritz the wave coach knows the wishbone and can coach against it...Tulane played Auburn tough but gave up over 500 yds to Houston McMillan is a sold qb who can run and pass...think he gives Army some problems and the Wave pull out a rare win at the Point..

lost CK last nite strange game but Cinncy defense played great..
top plays
Oklahoma...FIU.... Ok St and top play Maryland

Bryanz...actually capped this game and thought I liked it..but I had Navy a dog at home at +2 or +3 and the line is +3 so no real advantage..so will pass, something that Air Force can do better then Navy....

Maryland beating Rutgers big.. I heard from someone that Blackshear would not play and asked the coach he didn't want to play so he can have a red shirt year...unreal..so Rutgers loses its 2nd best offensive threat and sits out...also Sitkowski the qb is also asking for a red shirt year and hasn't played ...I the played it even for more on Maryland ...not sure if it was public knowledge that Blackshear would ask to sit out but I got a text from my buddy and was not sure if his info was right..but it was....this red shirt rule is really bad.. I can see if someone is hurt or a coach transfers but if a coach is fired don't agree with the red shirt rule...NCAA is making a mockery of the rule...I guess its after 4 games or before 4 games... Rutgers is looking so bad ....Blackshear told coach just before the game started that he didn't want to play...I wasn't really sure so just added a little on the play...would of pounded it more if I was sure....but that is a huge let down..still think Terps win and cover but Blackshear was there top rb and receiver...not sure how he feels in the lockeroom with his teammates

Saw this..this morning and I agree .. I know they fired their coach but he was 8-34 and won just a few games in the Big-10....everyone knew he had to beat BC last week and at least show some improvement ...last yr he stuck with his 4-star freshmen qb in Sitkowski all year and that was his biggest mistake...so what does Sitkowski do yesterday...refuses to play and asks for a red shirt year...or maybe transfer...Blackshear also...pasted this on the Rutgers chat room this morning.. I kinda agree with this but I don't know all the real details behind the scenes..

Bailed on their teammates, Art Sitkowski and Raheem Blackshear, what a pair of gutless, craven, selfcentered losers, they should have their scholarships stripped from them and never be allowed back into any of the facilities. Your teammates are out there doing their best, and all you're doing is thinking about yourself. Feckless, selfish, thoughtless, weak, disloyal, two-faced, treacherous, unreliable, faithless, perfidious, deceitful: there aren't enough words in the English language to describe your pathetic abandonment of your team and your brothers in arms. You should be ashamed to ever put on Rutgers gear again.

thank you Old School:0008:0008:0008
