Pitt - 4 and take it to the BANK!! UGH!!

This is a REALLY, REALLY bad spot for the Vikes. Vikes are 6- 0 and quite easily could be 4-2.. Playing a Pittsburgh team who just got done handling the Brownies at home.. The Vikes just don't match up in this game whatsoever.

Vikes O - Line -- Loadholt at right tackle is getting better but the center Osullivan is getting pushed and knocked around.. Add that AP is dinged up too.. The running game will have to be a big factor. Forgot to mention the weakness here is picking up and recognizing blitzes.. Improving but I expect Pitt's 3 - 4 zone blitz to confuse the VIkes.

Defense- Winfield may not play and if he does he will be playing dinged up.. I hope they sit him. The rest of the secondary is horse shit.. Only way the Vikes stay in this one is with a BIG pass rush and I do not see it in Pitt on the grass. Also the Defense is giving up way too many BIG PLAYS..

Favre- Like him or not.. He is having one hell of a year. The man can still sling it and Sydney Rice is the MAN right now, Berrian is playing better but Harvin is dinged now too. Saying all that this just seems to me like the game that Favre will throw a couple of picks or 3.

EMOTION-- This game doesn't mean shit to the VIkes compared to the following week when the VIkes play Green Bay.. I can really see the Vikes giving up early if they fall behind and rest their dinged up players to have them ready for the following week.. Pitt needs this game due to the early season losses.

I'm with ya BP. I picked this game out 1st and then looked really hard at Dallas for my second big play of the week. Steelers easy in this one as I can see Favre having one of those 3 pick games, esp with Troy back on the the field for the champs. Statement game for Pitts.

San Diego - 4.5 maybe wait to see if the line gets a little lower. I know the Chargers looked pathetic last night in the second half.. Does it hang over into next week? Just think Denver is much better than KC and I see the Chargers puttig up some good numbers.. More of a GUT play.

Did you see the last three games?? Mega yards passing givin up. Winfield may play but shouldn't. This is a Pitt layup.. Hope I am wrong.

last game the d played soft with a big lead giving up the short stuff. the kid backing up winfield granted gave up some big plays although i thought he was in pretty good position most of the time. the pass d is currently ranked 17th out of 32 teams. many times lately the corners have been taken deep on routes and the linebackers have been beat in the flats. the bend but don't break drives me crazy. i like it when our corners get up on the line and get physical with the receivers. e.j. and leber are run stoppers. greenway is the best in coverage but weak against the run when they go straight at him. he's great in pursuit. i give the safeties a c so far and the corners a b overall. not the best cover guys in the league but i love their physical nature. griffin was second on the team in tackles last year and is continuing on that pace. winfield is probably the best tackling corner in the league. hope he is going to be ok. his contract incentives demand he be on the field to collect. can't see the vikes covering this week though. they are very dinged up and in a bad spot. will be in lambeau in 2 weeks. can't wait for that one.

I agree 100% with your assessment. You will definitely have a great time in Lambeau.. Hope the tickets didn't cost you an arm and a leg.

We have always partied at the bars around the stadium... I can't remember the names but you can't miss them. Never been to Favre's stake house but you might want to hit it up.. I hear they might tear it down after the Vikes win..:142smilie Take a cab cause the Green and Gold faithful have been known to hit pedestrians wearing PURPLE.
