Last week, eight games were decided by three points or less and three were decided on the game's final play ? all field goal attempts.

Steelers are an NFL-best 31-10 in October since 1996.

Texans have the 30th-ranked offense and 32nd-ranked defense.

The Broncos defense has allowed one touchdown this season, the first team to allow so few touchdowns to start the season since the Detroit Lions pitched seven shutouts to start the 1934 season.:scared

Something to consider: The Seahawks have won their past 12 at home, outscoring opponents 352-190, and over their past 27 games at home they're 24-3.

Something to consider: The Raiders scored 20 or more points in four of their past five against the Cards. They haven't scored 20 in three of their first five this season.

Something to consider: Vick is 6-0 vs. the AFC at home.

Steelers not only are the league's seventh-ranked run defense, they've allowed exactly two 100-yard rushers in two years.

Something to consider: The Packers are 10-2 when Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila has two or more sacks, and I mention that only because this week's opponent is the league's second worst at protecting the quarterback. The Dolphins have allowed 22 sacks, or nearly four per game.

Something to consider: Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is murder on the NFC. He has won nine of his past 10 against clubs from the conference, with 28 touchdowns,:scared four interceptions and a passer rating of 124.2. Plus, Manning has two or more touchdown passes in his past five games in October.

Tom Brady, QB, New England owns the Buffalo Bills. Brady is 10-1 against them, with 19 TDs and a 91.5 passer rating. He also has two or more touchdown passes in five of his past six games against the Bills.

"It really hasn't been that difficult." -- Dallas coach Bill Parcells on dealing with Terrell Owens :mj07:

Dating back to 2001, the New England Patriots are 28-7 against the AFC East, including 3-0 this season.
