Thanks Woodson... hope your feeling better.

El JB... thanks for the vote of confidence I hope the weekend is better then the week has been.

Duke (-6) over Mary
Duke looked strong last week and I think the system Cutcliff has is starting to produce points. Maryland coming off two consecutive loses to Wake and UVA. Against UVA Maryland just looked bad at times. Now they go to Duke where the blue devils are playing decent foorball. They put up a big number last week and they stayed with VT. The devils don't have a lot of quality wins but they are a team moving in the direction. They are home and they have the offense putting up points I think even their defense should play well enough to slow down the Terps.

Oregon (-7.5) over Wash
Big play
Got this early in the week for a bigger play because I thought the ducks off a bye because the ducks have to shake the week off going into USC. What scares me in this game is Washington is very strong home team. Still I think the Ducks have found a little life and they need to get wins where they can. This is also the last home game for Washington so they will have an emotional advantage. Still I have to think the ducks have to do a little extra work after the week off and I think they are the better team but as the line goes higher it scares me because the Huskies have some issues to raly behind with a player passing on. Wish I got it at 7 but I'll take the hook seeing the ducks are off a by. If this was a normal after game week then I see a trap with USC coming but off a bye they have to be focused on doing the job.

TCU (-1) over BYU
Big play
Looking at the BYU sched you see two big games, FSU and Okie. The cougars got a little lucky knocking out Bradford in the game. I am sure emotional the sooners had a big let down and couldn't rebound. Then the FSU game where the noles just lit up the BYU defense and every time the offense did anything the defense gave it away. TCU is 2-0 ATS the past two season, they destroyed BYU last year. Even though I think TCU has played a softer sched I still think they played it better. Both teams played Colorado st and won, BYU gave up over 20 points to the Rams and again I think this game comes down to the BYU defense. TCU can score and so can BYU but the horned frogs can get a few stops and I am not sure BYU can do that. I think they just rely way too much on offense to outscore teams and they are capible but against teams that have decent offenses they will be fustrated because they cannot pull away. This will be a high scoring game but again I think TCU gets to Hall and stops BYU a few times while TCU will only be stopped by themselves and they both come to play in this game and the advantage is in TCU's corner. If TCU wins they jump to the front of the line in bowl busters. I think the frogs have just more talent and should be primed to take this game.

Bama (-16.5) over Tenn
small playy
Statement by Bama on Tenn at home where they play great defense against the run. Tenn lives to only run the ball. Bama shuts that down, Crompton continues to make bad decisions and create turnovers and the Bama offense cashes in drives more often than not. I am pretty sure Kiffen alleged a recuiting volation against Saban and I am sure that sat on his mind and he will not be affraid to put an exclaimation mark on this win. With three games left and two against teams Bama should beat in Miss St and Chatt, they need a few powerful wins to make sure they leave no doubt come voting time.

Miss St (+23) over Florida
Got to like a three TD advantage at home in the SEC. At home Miss state has played some big teams and the biggest margin of victory was 11. Florida with a big game against Georgia next week they have flu issues and two of their starting defensive players are out. Florida will win but I think the dogs fight them, with the cow bell ringing all day.

ND (-8) over BC
Small play
BC is trash on the road and ND needs a win after the close loss to USC. These are the games ND has to win and so they have too much offensive fire power for BC to contain. BCX has lost by an average of 20 points on the road. They live in chestnut hill. BC smacked ND in the mouth last season and held them to nothing on the score board, a little revenge and in south bend the Irish overrated offense beats up on a BC defense that has been emotional up and down but especially down on the road.

Okie st (-10) over Baylor
small play
Okie is not good on the road, but baylor without Griffin is not a good team. They lost to Iowa state by 14 and the cowboys have a much better offense. Scary spot with a rematch against Texas coming up for Okie st but I still think they beat up on a Baylor team just not equipt to replace their young leader at QB. Have to go with the better team and think they put up a big number on a defense that will not be able to get off the field considering the offensive struggles.

S.Car (-12.5) over Vandy
Small play
just a gut reaction because Vandy's loss to Army might send them into a tail spin. Which was seen when Georgia punched them while they were down. S.Car looking to rebound off of alabama a game in which they were very much in it until the 4th. No rest for S.Car in the rest of the games with Tenn, Ark, Fla and LSu all coming up so they need a win and at home they have enough to make it very tough for a Vandy defense to keep the score low enough to where the Vandy offense musters a small margin. I see this going the rate of the Kentucky game except I do not see Vandy putting up 20 plus points, this seems like a game where Scar wins by 2 TD's or a little more.

Cheers

Good Luck Irish, appreciated your input on the PSU game. I relooked at the game, and was thinking about switching the play to a total play, but going to ride Michigan out. You could be very well right about PSU's defense dominating the game, but I have a hard time backing a road dog that has played such a weak schedule up to this point. Again, as always appreciate your input and good luck this weekend.

MC - I wouldn't reconsider based on my plays right now cause I am rubbish... but like any good irishman I must finish the drink.

I thought Army was a good play but it looks like they just made too many mistakes that hurt them.

WVU(-7.5) over UConn
I think the huskies play inspired after the loss of a teammate but I think they just emotional will not be able to stay in this game. WVU at home plays well Jarett Brown is going to play and the WVU defense surprisingly has been able to contain the UConn offense over the past few years. Weather is cold and slightly raining but WVU played in worse last week. I think the loss of such a good player on UConn is hard to replace and the guys even though they come together have had too tough of a week to keep it going for 4 quarters, plus now they have an issue in the secondary.

Aub urn (+7.5) over LSU
Small play
I do not think LSU can score enough to make this a big win for them. Auburn is a decent team with a solid defense and they should hang around in this game that will be a defenssive battle all day. In the breakdown of things Auburn can score more than LSU and the Aub defense although not as good as LSU should be able to contain the LSU offense that to me is based on the running game and a QB that just is not what the tigers needd under center.

RE-HIT
Miami (-4.5) over Clemson
This makes this a huge play for me. I just think the canes are the far better team and with the loss to VT they cannot afford to tread lightly plus they have the home field advantage and Clemson already lost to Maryland and GT on the road.

i can only tell this...

i can only tell this...

Iowa kept their end of the bargain
Miami just fucked themselves in the offensive part of the TEAM ... so many turnovers and interceptions and finally their own stupidity shut them outta the game

Not too mention as a defensive Co you should have stars next to Spiller and Ford and I think Spiller was well over 300 all purpose yards and Ford was above 100.... Good Game planning in a must win game at home????

Another bad week.
