USC plays in a pathetic conference and until they do play in the SEC(NEVER) you can't say they would do this or that!! Everyone knows its a weak conference except some bean heads!! By the way I do very well capping and have for over 20 years so dont need any help!! Putting up scores of two games out of three years playing 2 SEC teams shows your knowledge level there Scoot!! Play a whole SEC tilt then talk!! Your strengh of schedule BS is just that!! What a joke!! Talk to someone that knows nothing about sports so they will believe you!! You dont see commentaters on ESPN ever talking about the weakness of the SEC and I stress "NEVER"!!!! But do alot about the Pac-10 ummmm wake up and see the real world!! Tired of arguing this point so tune in to ESPN they will stress the truth about my facts!!

Nobody said the SEC conf. is weak. It is a very strong conf. Maybe more top heavy vs strong 1-12.

*The SEC plays a weak OOC schedule.
*The SEC plays a weak strength of schedule.

Good luck proving those 2 statements to be false!

The problem with the SEC is you don't know how good of a conf. it really is. They do not play anybody outside of their conf. They always play ton of home games. Why does the SEC have a below average record against BCS teams? If they are so superior, wouldn't the SEC be above 500 against BCS schools? :shrug: Good luck explaining that!

It is very difficult for anybody to come up with an argument touting the SEC. Why? THERE IS NOTHING TO SUPPORT YOUR OPINION! All you have is an opinion.

Here is the kicker. Nobody is touting the Pac 10 to be superior than the SEC. The argument is, THE SEC IS NOT VASTLY SUPERIOR TO THE PAC 10 or any other BCS conf. (except Big East)

I will show you why TOP 25 Rankings are BOGUS. Wins/losses get you top 25 rankings. That is all these voters care about. Guess what? The team you root for will prove my argument. How great is that. LSwho!

Why is LSU ranked #14? Why would ANYONE brag about LSU being ranked #14? As an LSU fan, why the hell would you be proud of this team? Who cares if you blow out $hitty competition. I guess LSU fans like beating their chest when they beat Louisiana-Lafayette by 42pts.

In conclusion, DO NOT BRAG about how many SEC teams are ranked in the top 25. It is BOGUS!

You primarely get ranked in the top 25 based on wins and losses. Not so much on who you play or where you play.

SEC is 72-80 against OOC BCS eligible teams since it's creation. WOW THAT CONFERENCE IS SO DOMINANT!

TN I respect. From the top of my head, TN has played ND and Miami in OOC. This year CAL. I hope TN is playing @CAL next year?

When I mention SEC, I am talking about teams 1-12. In general, SEC teams play weak OOC. In general, SEC teams play weak SOS.

FL is another SEC team who will play tough OOC. I think I remember one year FL playing Miami and FSU in OOC.

Remember, CAL had QB making his 2nd career start (basically his 1st since his only other start was against div. 2 opponent and was hurt early in game). He couldn't handle the pressure. TN dominated in all phases. However, if TN played @CAL I think CAL would win SU.

Let's be honest though, don't give me the Cal QB was making his 2nd start or whatever, UT had a horrible year and absolutely destroyed Cal. 35-3 in the 3rd and UT put Crompton in at QB and called off the dogs. It could have been alot worse. I will say that Cal has made me a great deal of money since then as I knew Tedford would turn them around. Will be a tough opener next year, but see UT making it a close game

The CAL QB was indeed making his 2nd career start. His 1st start was against CRAPPY team and he got hurt early in the game. So essentially, this was his first start. On the road in hostile environment. Losing @TN made CAL better and now CAL has higher prob. of beating USC and running the table!

TN got CAL at the right time. 1st game of year, at home etc. TN dominated in all phases of the game. If both teams played next week on neutral field, I put line at pk.

I also think CAL was spooked @TN. CAL is not used to being ranked so high in pre-season. They finally earned the respect and fell flat on their faces. Seems like huge weight has been lifted off their shoulders and now they play loose.

TN plays a tough schedule year in year out. No arguments from me! FL too. I remember rooting for TN every time they played ND. I hated the Irish back then and was jealous of their success. I look forward to CAL/TN next year. If TN comes out with a win (any win) I will be VERY IMPRESSED! It will say a lot about TN. That is how the SEC can claim being superior conf. BEAT quality teams outside of conf. play.

Michigan/ND is a rivalry game. Vandy/Michigan is just an OOC game. ND gets every teams best shot. Makes ND schedule that much tougher!
