Starting off with these. I don't know if I'll add much more, at least not until I can finally get a line on the Chargers (saw a brief -10 and I think that anything under a 7 looks good?teased down to -3 and I think it looks superb); still not sure if, when and where that game will be played.
I think that a lot of people believe that teasers are real sucker bets but I went 9-0 (9-0-2 really, with 2 pushes mixed in) on my teasers last week, needing the extra points on both the Saints and Redskins. Gets my teaser stats well into the plus and they now account for 71% of my profit from the season. I only went 2-4 on spreads last week and they really need to improve for me if I'm going to do any serious damage the rest of the way. For now, I'm just happy to be up for the year; baseball is taking up most of my handicapping time so I'm doing okay considering that I'm investing minimal time so far.
Saints at -3 and Giants -3 (teased) look to be my best bets for week 8. I have to start being a little clearer, in these posts, about just what my best bets are; they're doing well this season but, again, baseball has prevented me from doing much analysis or disclosure in my NFL posts. That should improve once baseball is done but I really need to do some catching up on some important trends, angles, injuries, etc. I hope to restart a decent system that I've used in the past but it takes quite a bit of time so week 9 is the earliest that I might get that going.
Enough said.
