funny line movement of the week. when i saw the monday night line with the eagles opening up at minus 6 and the total opening up at 37, my initial reaction was they would both go down. both have gone up (-7 and 38.5). can anyone help justify these numbers going up?

well, now that i've done some work, i see why the eagles are -7. i have them to win by 10, but's that monday, so will wait to post.

here's what i've come up with so far...



denver+3 3*
bears +1.5 2*
steelers - 2 2*

niners/cards under 41 2*

love the denver play, have them winning outright, but i'll take the 3 points over the ml, just in case.

loved this early, but was going to wait until the last minute to play it figuring it was going to go up. lots in here opposite this play, but i love the buff/det game to go under tomorrow. saw the # dropping and locked in...

a couple weeks ago, someone started a thread about "when will the bengals win their first game". off the top of my head i threw out this tenn game, figurin after the bye week, catching tenn at home, yada, yada, yada...

well, now i'm scratching my head as many seem to be backing the bengals +, and the line is coming DOWN??

they say hindsight is 20/20 but it is also a good learning tool, and this scenerio looks too good to me.

overall 36-30-2 (+10.60 units)


total wasn't really in doubt, but the side could have teetered often. many generous spots for the birds, a really bizarre overturn on that eagles challenge and a fortuitous bounce for a touchback helped philly alot. aside from the fumble for the touchback, the spots and calls had me thinking the league wants to establish SOME team as the team to beat in the nfc. still not sold on it being my birds.
