Didn't have good enough service to post my Saturday plays last week.

Initial Leans for this week:

S. Carolina +3
UF has 2 starters out on the OL this week. Not good for the Gators. SCar can all but clinch the East with a win this week, barring an epic meltdown.

A&M +3
LSU definitely has the better D in this match up, but A&M's offense is very good and Manziel is electric. I like the home team with the good offense here. If A&M can protect the football, they should win the game. A&M's D should be good enough to stop LSU's mediocre offense.

Kentucky +28
UK got blasted by Arky last week. Arky is getting their momentum back. UK plays with a little more passion at home. UGA has a big game with UF on deck. If Fla beats SCar, then it opens the door for UGA and they will try and get through this game healthy.

Oklahoma St. -13-
Cowboys coming off a less than stellar performance at Kansas and Iowa St. almost pulls the upset over Kansas St. Line is a little high IMO and seems to be looking for Iowa St. money. I like OKST at home in this one with the better offense.

MTSU +20
MSU is coming off a big win over Tennessee and has a big SEC West showdown with Bama on deck. Classic trap game for MSU and 20 pts is a lot to a good offensive team like MTSU, who destroyed GT on the road earlier this year. MSU has a bad habit of playing to the level of their opponents. Good back door spot here.

Ohio St. -17
This is merely a lean to fade Purdue. They've sucked the last 2 weeks.

Tennessee +19-
IMO I think Tennessee's offense is very good when they open it up. For some reason they really didn't open it up vs. MSU last week. They better get the ball to Patterson and Hunter this week if they want a chance in this one. As stated earlier, Bama has MSU on deck for the lead in the West.

Clemson -9
VT is a very average team IMO. Clemson has too much speed in this one and Clemson owns VT here lately. Clemson has too many weapons on offense to try and contain and being at home will help too.

Vandy -7
Auburn makes too many mistakes and has too many holes in the secondary. Chizik is showing his true colors and the players seem to have quit. Mainly a lean to fade Auburn.

TCU -1
Both teams coming off big wins, but TT is on the road here after a HUGE thrashing of WVU. Seems like a hangover game for them IMO. I like the Frogs at home.

Louisville -7-
Cards a very solid team who seem to show up every week. They are finally back at home against a USF team that has been horrid on the road so far this year.

La Tech -31
Yes this is a big number, but LT's offense is nasty. Too much speed here for Idaho as they make their 2nd trip down to Louisiana. Really think LT absolutely routes the Vandals here.

W. Virginia -3
WVU looked like a completely different team last week, but that doesn't mean anything this week. WVU at home is extremely tough. Very hostile crowd and WVU is loaded with speed at the skill positions. KSU is a well coached team and this will likely be a high scoring affair, but don't the Cats can hang with the Neers in Morgantown.

Trust me Corley, this defense has quit on Sunseri. No offense, but State putting up 41 should tell you enough. Bama will name the score, so if I can't talk you out of it, take the over as a hedge.:toast:

On many of the same games too. I agree with your thinking on the Vols and UK too. UGA isnt the type of team to cover large numbers, heck they couldnt cover a large number at home against Buffalo! GL this week!

Corley, I wish we could know how up the LSU players will be for this game after a very BIG game at home last week. I think LSU shuts Manziel down. The Aggies are living off the fact that these Ds have to worry about the running game and Manziel running. I think LSU shuts the running game down and dares him to test them deep. IMO he might do it some but not enough to carry the O.

On the other side of the ball the Aggies are pretty bad. The problem is that I don't know if LSU can pass the ball well enough to test the bad pass d of the Aggs.

If the game is close at half then it's a guaranteed LSU win because A&M suck in the 2nd half.

IMO this game is an under play.

Florida gave LSU the blue print on how to slow down the Aggs offense. One Florida made changes the Aggie offense didn't do much.

Just saw that MTSU RB Cunningham will be out this week and possibly the rest of the year with a knee injury. Huge loss for MTSU... Nation's 13th best RB

Skip - I saw Tenn has quite a few injuries leading into this game. I trust you on this... Seems safer to play Bama and the over

That was brutal... Still can't figure out how we have 50 pts with 10 mins left in the 2nd Qtr and couldn't hit the over
