Small Plays
Mississippi (-4) over Arkansas W
Nutt going back to where he left, Arkansas beat Auburn who showed no ability to tackle last night against WVU. Nutts team is confident and Arkansas is still the team that was losing by 30 plus to the big dogs earlier this year. Ole Miss is posting 378.9 yards per outing. The Rebels outgained Samford 424 yards to 198, Vanderbilt 385 to 202, Florida 360 to 348 and Alabama 359 to 326. Ole Miss? 27.9 scoring clip is also the highest since 2003. The 31 points against Florida equaled the most against an SEC foe since the 43-40 win over South Carolina in 2003. Ol Miss on the way up Arkansas at rock bottom.
Maryland (-10.5) over NC St LHomecoming, riding a winning streak at home the terps are in position to really beat up on a NC St team that is low in the confidence department. The terps SHUT OUT WAKE, thats not easy to do and it goes to show that when Maryland comes to play they are a tough ball club. They get up in this home game and they just prove to much for NC St who needs some time before they take O'Briens system to the next level. Scary because NC St has stayed in games lately but I think the homecoming emotion allows them to pulls away.
Arizona (+16) over USC W
Last seaason at USC Arizona lost 20-13, they lead 13-10 in the fourth. USC (3rd) and Arizona (5th) rate among the nation's top teams in pass efficiency defense. USC is allowing only 137 yards per game. UA gives up only 152, rating sixth in the category, plus has 10 interceptions. USC is No. 2 in total defense (220 ypg), where UA rates 19th (284 ypg). Arizona has a 91% redzone success rate so they get in the redzone and come away with something. I think that Arizona is in a spot where they could pull an upset but I think they should at least remain involved in this game so the 16 is a better option.
Thanks Scoop I apreciate the kudo's.:toast:
