Capper,

Great record and glad your daughter is okay. There is nothing worse than watching your kid get injured.

In all honesty, I really didnt get to spend as much time capping the games for this weekend due to an accident. My four year old daughter was playing in the backyard and went down a sliding board holding a stick that she had picked up in the yard, and as she slid down the slide she lost her balance and somehow the stick ended up going into her mouth. When the stick went into her mouth it poked a hole in the inner portion of her throat and the local hospital had to take her by helicopter up to Akron Childrens Hospital where they performed surgery. After three hours of surgery they were able to repair the wound and told us that if it would of hit her throat a fraction of an inch to the left of where it hit she would of bled to death. I must state that the hospital was fantastic in their work and she is fine now and was released from the hospital today. S, as you can see, my time was rather limited this week.

MC, I hope your daughter is recovering well. We are truly blessed to have Akron Childrens Hospital so close. My youngest spent a month in intensive care there and they do wonderful work and the staff is very compassionate. To hell with the football, just very happy to hear that she's going to be ok.

Best of luck

I echo everyone else's sentiments MC. My prayers are with you and your family and I wish your daughter a speedy recovery. Having daughters of my own, I can only imagine how stressful this has been.

MC......I certainly am glad to hear your daughter is recovering well.

My wife is expecting with our first child and I know I will be petrified of my little guy/girl getting hurt once they are able to explore on their own.

I guess you just have to hope someone above is looking over them.

Take care,
SPITS

I'm not a big poster here. But have followed everyone for years.

I hate to see any child in pain. Glad to hear you daughter is going to be fine. All the Best.

P.S. Wish you didn't pick Mich. Some other great cappers here (i.e. Raymond) have the other side.

Good Luck today

Hey Master, sorry to hear what happened to your daughter. Im glad that everything worked out for the best. GL to you today. I also remember you saying that you looked into the reverse line moves. There is a really big reverse move in the Kent St/ Miami Oh line. FYI.

thanks for all the kind words.

Redskin,

Yeah that game caught my eye, and the movement to Kent is sort of strange since they have struggled this season.

Here is how I had every game capped and total thre quarters of the way through my usual process for the week. The larger the number the more stronger a play is on the favorite, whereas as the number gets lower it favors the dog. The final portion that I did not get the opportunity to wrap up involves injuries and individual conf stats.

78-AForce
249-Boise
10-Army
146-Maryland
15-Miami FL
111-NW
12-Sota
143-BC
9-UCONN
84-ILL
106-Pitt
29-TXAM
87-FLA
39-Ole Miss
101-Ball St
183-BYU
60-Duke
195-Tulane
158-Fresno
45-Navy
66-Bama
95-Oreg
154-Cal
14-Miami of Ohio
193-GT
4-OKST
56-Georgia
260-Oklahoma
67-Mich State
206-FSU
84-NILL
278-NMXST
245-TCU
43-CMU
70-SFLA
68-NEB
106-TX TECH
193-Mizzou
163-PSU
46-SMISS
170 ND
149-COL ST
124-USC
157-Reno
34-MISS ST
125-FL ATL
176-Troy

As you can see, a couple of my plays go against the logic of the system and those plays were based on other things that would of come out in the final round, such as, Mich, as they are quite difficult to run against and I am banking that MSU will struggle to pass especially with Hoyer coming off a TKO.

Totals

Aub 43
AF 44
Boise 51
Army 41
MARY 46
Wake 46.5
NW 50
Sota 48
UNC 45
CONN 44
ILL 56
Pitt 43
IWST 55
FLA 44
OLE MISS 53
BALL ST 53
BYU 52
DUke 47
Rice 63.5
Fresno 60
Navy 65
Bama 41
OREG 53
UCLA 56
Miami Ohio 48
GT 39
OKST 64
Georgia 50
Oklahoma 68
MICH 47.5
FSU 48.5
NILL 46
NMXST 69
TCU 39.5
CMU 56
LOU 53
NEB 61
Kan 71
Mizzou 58
OSU 47.5
Memp 58
ND 54
COLST 51
USC 54
Reno 61.5
MISS ST 40
FLATL 50
Troy 67

Now the totals are based on the cumulative points scored and given up by each team with games against the FCS teams thrown out.

For Example

If you look at the NCAA stats, then Fla State is scoring 37.3 per game and giving up 16, but if you toss out the games played against FCS teams the totals change to 27.3 and 22.3.

This would be three quarters of the way through on my guesses, but I have not factored in injuries and the last three games played.
