Indiana +17.5 over Iowa - Iowa has not shown the firepower to blow teams out.

I seem to remember that, but this is a spot for a letdown. This team is reminding me more and more of the Tressel Ball team from 2002...gross but effective.

I think Iowa has the firepower to blow teams out, but that has never been the goal of the current Iowa coaching staff. Iowa scored 14 points in the 1st 7 minutes of the game Vs. Ark State, then rolled over and just got the win.
Couple that with the fact that two of Iowa's starting defensive backs left the field on stretchers Saturday night and the long time problem of Iowa having trouble with spread offensives and this one has all the makings of a huge upset.
Can Indiana win straight up? Anything can happen, but I don't think Indiana can win. You'd have to be the biggest Iowa homer in the world to lay that many points, though.
Either play Indiana + the points or pass here. I'll take a 17 point Iowa win....;)

I am going beyond my comfort zone here and branching out to play some conferences that I am not all that familiar with, but I can't do much worse...

Temple +7 over Navy - I was impressed with Navy early on against the Nuts, but with a backup QB set to take snaps against a Temple team that is on a roll, I have to take the touchdown.

Rutgers +7 over UConn - I am not even going to pretend to know anything about either team. However, the UConn emotional roller coaster in addition to a Rutgers team that is still not too shabby leads me to believe that a touchdown is too many to lay.

Nebraska -13 over Baylor - Baylor is awful and Pelini has to be pissed.

Georgia Tech -11 over Vandy - Vandy can't score.

Georgia Tech/Vandy under 47 - Something about Vandy not being able to score.

New Mexico State over 2.5 Team Total - I don't know if I have ever seen this before. I mean all we are asking for is a field goal here... It is apparent that New Mexico State is atrocious, but they have still yet to be shut out this year. Even when Louisiana Tech...yes, that La. Tech...outgained them by nearly 400 yards, they still managed to at least score!! I think Pryor has the ability to turn it over in his own end that will allow the Aggies to kick the field goal to cover!

5 Dimes...it should be up at Bookmaker too. Both books typically have team totals.

3-4 on the day...28-31 on the year. I might post some bowl plays later on this year, but I am not posting or playing anymore in the regular season. Good luck to all.
