gonna head to cleveland for a wedding this weekend, so posting my plays early.
new orleans (+6) 2 units. this line looks suspiciously low to me... are you telling me the colts are only 3 points better on a neutral field? well, if i think they're trying to get me to play the colts, then i gotta play the saints. plus it's never a bad idea to go against the previous years' super bowl teams.
jacksonville (-6.5) 1 unit. stubbornly i kept betting against the titans last year, even as vince young somehow led them to cover after cover. i just don't see it... the guy is a bad quarterback. very inaccurate. if he completes 50% of his passes, he had a great day. i remember jax dominating the titans last year, but the titans scored roughly 80 points on fumble returns. that can't happen again.
atlanta (+3) 1 unit. my weakest play, but i have to do it on principle. call it the 'patrick ewing theory'* applied to football. i believe the falcons are a better team without michael vick.
san diego (-6) 1 unit. another play against last year's super bowl team. i have to figure grossman is good for at least one pick six. chargers should roll here.
