Army +5.5 over Eastern Mich **
Both teams have new coaches.Army's Ellison is going to be outstanding.he is running the cal poly option offense.Just tons of different schemes in this option attack.Two of my buddies have seen a few practices...they are raving about this army offense..its an option run with an air attack..all the talk around the Point is 6'10 Villanueva..Ellison put him in as a WR not a TE...he can catch the ball...and the frosh steadman will start..a real option qb..but still a puppy...Army will run there new flex defense and I think that could be a problem vs EMU with a good QB,Schmidt...EMU also has a new offense...I liked Army at +7 or +8..but the line dropped to +5.5..and that has scared me a little. both teams have new coaches and systems its hard to figure out who is battle ready.
But I love army this year.In practices they have fumbled a lot running the option. The OL is a make shift one..but there are gelling together and don't have to worry about pass blocking..Everyone says steadman is a stud. He is quick,reads defenses and has an arm...small play and going with army +5.5..think Army will score and move the ball. But can there defense stop Schmitt and co..last year Army beat EMU 17-13..its a road game with a frosh starting...

good luck..going to Atlantic city and Ocean city for the weekend...school starts on wed..didn't take one day off the whole summer..already burnt out....will play a little blackjack tonite...relax on the beach....
although this is political...Obama has told all the principals in the US about his speach to our children. I'm ok with that..but he forgot something.many of us in the east coast don't start school until Labor day weekend is over. We start on Wed with kids...so his telecast is on tuesday..maybe someone should of told him all school won't be in session yet...
did bad last nite...1-3..North Texas goes out an wins..always happens..go against North Texas they win...going against the NY giants and they win...go with NT they lose..go with Jints they lose

I was really digging E.Mich...
I know u know your army foots... I was thinking E.Mich would be able to handle the wishbone....Mainly because it's the 1st game of the year and they had all off season knowing they would see this
Type of attack in the 1st game... Secondly E.Mich was terrible on pass Def last season I didn't think Army was cappable of exploiting that weakness... Last season Army ratio of run to pass was like
7.5 to 1. That's a lot of running..


As of now I'm on the fence but I was so close to making E.Mich a play...Although most of my logic was thinking Army would be pathetic again and roll over...lol... Good thing I read your thread....

Reporting in from Ocean City,NJ....had a great time in AC on friday nite.Played blackjack and lost about $200..up and down....then go over to a magic show...only 8 people attend...was great..I was used as a prop.....wife went to bed early..walking through casino to go back to room.stop by roulette table....play 7 for Mantle,15 richie allen,24 for mays,32 for steve carlton and jim brown,14 for oscar robinson..and 30 for my new grandaughter...born on may 30th...I put $5 on them...30 hits in the 1st spin....2nd spin lose...next one...32 hits...miss one..next one 30 again...I'm out...play for 2 hours and lose and in 5 minutes win..crazy grambling.....
did OK yesterday..Army did well....loved Baylor,Texas loses by 1....
beach was great...going to AC tonite..airportis...staying in OC which is 10 miles south of AC...going to a resturant in margate,then gamble a little...not sure how I can contact you...I'll check here after the beach today..

Cincinnati +5 over Rutgers **
Switching over and grabbing the points.Like Cinncy offense with Pike at Qb.Bearcats have top 2 rb's back.Giiyard could run one back..he has 11 td's and is a good kick returner also.RU offense goes w/o Teel.Not sure if that is good or bad.Cinncy defense is suspect since almost everyone is gone.But RU might have more question marks..on offense..close game..

Good buy back on the Bearcats. They looked awesome and I believe that Kelly is one of the top 5-10 coaches in the country. Now that he's starting to get his own recruiting classes into the Cinci uniform bodes well for the future as long as he stays put.

They had some real injury problems last season but if they remain healthy he may well have a top 10 team on his hands. I know that the Buckeyes would want no part of the Bearcat team that I saw yesterday. Time will tell.

He would wouldn't he ? Just a matter of time till he gets a prime position somewhere. I don't think that Cinci will be able to afford him.
