#158 Houston -3 +100 x3
One of UCLA's 4 wins in 2010 was a home blowout of Houston, 31-13. UCLA should continue with their porous defense of last year. The Bruins have a new offensive coordinator and as of now, they have yet to decide on a starting QB. The Cougars 6th year QB Case Keenum went out for the season in last years game. Keenum's credentials are outstanding, complimenting a good rushing attack. Keenum?s career numbers are among the best ever in college football history. He has thrown for 13,586 pass yds with a 69% completion rate, 107 TD and 41 INT. He also has 20 rushing touchdowns to boot. In addition to Sims, the Cougars are loaded with offensive talent. TB Bryce Beall (870 rush yds, 12 TD) and WR Patrick Edwards (1,100 rec yds, 13 TD) were top gainers on the team last year. Looking for UCLA to start slow and having to play catch up. UCLA is getting too much love in this game, IMO. Houston is 10-1 ATS over the past 3 seasons when Keenum is the starter.
Thought I'd get this favorite out of the way to start the season. i can't imagine to many more favs for the entire season. Good luck to everyone this year!
