Temple/Penn State over 45.5 - Penn State's boring start to the year has driven this total down to a point that it is definitely playable. Even though the Lions have looked less than explosive, they are facing the worst defense they have seen so far, and I would expect Joe Pa to put the hammer down a bit if he happens to wake up during the course of the game.

Arizona +4 over Iowa - It hasn't shown on the scoreboard to this point, but Arizona's offense has moved the ball at will. I feel as though they will move it against the Hawkeyes too, and I don't think Iowa can score.

Western Michigan -16.5 over Miami - Falcon and Spang have touched upon this one and I agree. Western might only need to score 17 to cover this one since they are facing an awful offensive group. Western needs to get back on track and have the horses to do so.

Iowa State -3 over Kent - Kent has lost Jarvis and that is going to do them in for the year. Add to it that Dix Stadium (yes, it is called Dix Stadium) is not exactly an intimidating venue for the opposition and I see ISU rolling.

Oregon State +1 over Cincinnati - This is not a popular pick, but I am not sure this Big East team is ready to go cross country and face a pretty good Oregon State team. Rodgers is going to play, which helps, and this is the first true road test for a team has never had this much expected them in the past.

Auburn -7.5 over West Virginia - This is more of a play against West Virginia and the Big East. They are going to an SEC venue and are going to be facing superior athletes.

Florida -29.5 over Tennessee and Texas -17.5 over Texas Tech - I can't believe I am laying this type of chalk but these two games should get out of hand. First off, Florida will score more with their defense than Tennessee will with their offense, and Urban is going to score as many as possible. Second, Tech can't stop anyone on the road, and as good as they can be in Lubbock, they are equally as bad on the road.

Good Luck to all!!

This year's athletes are playing at home and not in Morgantown, and more importantly they are being utilized as athletes this year and are being given the freedom to play. Chisum isn't afraid to put points on the board and let his athletes be athletes unlike the past regime. I never like teams from weaker conferences going into night games in the south.

Iowa is going to need to make it low scoring to win this one, but I just think it is going to be tougher than it looks on the surface. Zona has just been finding ways to keep the ball out of the endzone early on, but they have been pretty solid moving the ball.

I would love to see Iowa win (preferably by 3 or less) because that would be a quality win for the Big Ten. Good luck this week Hawkeye...I enjoy your input.

A well thought out retort.

Pretty good looking card, We're in agreement on most and I'm due so you may not face the doom that would seem probable based on that fact. I did not post it but I made a small play on Az as well.

Best of luck Spackler
