No, I do not think they are looking forward. Even if they are, it just means they will only win by 20+ instead of 30+. This ISU team is really, really bad. They are the ones who might actually be looking ahead more. Next week is their annual bowl game for all intents and purposes. I'll be pissed if Iowa lets them hang in, but there is no way K State will let them IMO.

You can count on Moo U hanging around against the Hawkeyes; after all its just another game in Ferentz's eyes, right? :facepalm:

And if Iowa doesn't find some players on defense, every team on the schedule will be in their game against them.

They say your never as bad or as good as you looked the first game of the season and that a lot of improvement happens between the 1st two games of the season. That may be true, but I'm glad Iowa has a MAC team this week...

The total of 53.5 seems too low....:shrug:

If a 1-AA team can shred that defense for that many points/yards, shouldn't a 1-AAA team from the MAC be able to, too??

Like K State here as well. Snyder shows no mercy on the football field and even if he wanted to, they are in L-Ames so he only has his travel squad--no third stringers for late 4th quarter mop up duty....

I do agree that that total seems low. I may have to put some dollars down on it. We better not lose next week! Fucking Clowns and their "Iowa game makes or breaks the season" attitude. :nono:

Like your plays but staying off this KState. North Dakota state has a solid program and could probably hammer quite a few d1 schools. If game was at KState I'd be in. I see KState by 7-10. Good luck

I can't say I care for the lack of line movement, but everything else screams a beatdown. Keep this in mind. ISU trailed Kansas State 41-0 last year before finally scoring with 3:24 remaining. This ISU team has not moved forward. KSU has. I only hope that ISU hangs in during the first half so that I can pound KSU again for the second half. Probably won't get that chance though.

This really hurts them as they are already thin on the line. Their starting center, Tom Farniok, is hobbled with an MCL strain, but he is going to start supposedly anyway. He kind of has to because he is the one making all the calls at the line! If he gets knocked out, look out!
