Ravens (-1) over Jets
The Jets have never been an outstanding home team. Baltimore's defense should have the ability to stop the run forcing Carter to beat them. IMO Carter is an OK QB but he will force throws. The bills were able to run on this Jets team last week and the Ravens should be able to do the same.
Redskins (-3) over Cincy
The skins have a good rushing attack but zero passing game. they will grind the ball all day, something I don't think the Bengals can stop. The defense of the redskins is tremendous with blitz's. IMO the skins should get pressure on Palmer. However the Bengals have great options at the WR position. Trick plays won't cut it for the skins this week, however as long as they don't make mistakes (which they always do!), they should be able to get a lead and let the defense hold it.
KC (-3.5) over NO
I have lost money on the Chiefs all season why stop now? The Saints are just bad! but then again so is KC. Losing Barber hurts an already terrible defense. Losing Priest Holmes hurts the offense. Still, Trent Green has looked sharp of late and Gonzalez should have a big day. NO is in turmoil and even at home I don't they have the fire power to keep this game close. The defenses shouldn't be a factor on either sides. So IMO it comes down to Offense...I would take Trent Green over A. Brooks!
Pitts (-3.5) over Cleveland
a look past game? Not in Cleveland. These teams do not like each other and it will be a dog fight. Cleveland is VERY tough at home and have played well almost every game. Losing in OT to philly and in scoring position against Baltimore! Still I have to think Pitts defense will be effective. On offense the steelers have done a good job. Only question mark is the Steelers have been ahead in their last 2 games, I'm not sure what to expect if it is close and on the road? Still I think the Steelers have the talent at WR and the ability at QB to get it done in Cleveland.
