KC (-3) over TB L
TB is still searching for itself and KC has found itself. The KC defense is very instinctive, and TB doesn't try a lot of different things. They lose Alstot (sp) and their best deep threat is a rookie. TB has always been good on defense but the KC line is starting to come together. Morton takes a lot of pressure of Gonzalez giving Trent a few options in the passing game. Pretty much every game is a must win for the Chiefs so I don't think they will come into TB lightly. I have said it before the key to this team is to feed Holmes the ball. Once he gets a TD then the defense crowds the line and KC can be successful!

Steelers (-1) over Philly W
I should have jumped on this when it first came out at +1 but the Steelers at home play a very tough defense. They really play to the crowd energy. The steelers offensive game plan is made to dominate the trenches. The eagles have a tough time stopping the run and I'm sure Duce has a little something extra in him for this game. The CB situation in Pitts isn't the best and TO will make plays the key is to limit them. McNabb has started to lean on him a little too much. If Baltimore had a little more of a running game (with J. Lewis out it is tough) they would have won that game.

Seattle (-6.5) over SF W
SF is not a good football team right now, they have players fighting in the locker room, they lost their best defensive player for the season. The QB isn't taking a leadership role and their best weapon is the TE. Seattle is also a team sliding downhill from where they started. Getting Simmons back at LB will help this team a ton. Now Brown and Simmons are back! Alexander should be able to run all day on the SF defense. The WR need to catch the ball, I would think Rice should be productive this week. Still the 49'ers have some building years ahead.

Jets (-3) over the Bills L
Even with the new found running game in Buffalo the Bills still do not have the ability to stay with a team like the Jets. Yes home field will help but the Jets have a solid all around team. I know Buffalo can beat Arizona and Miami but this is a different team and should be up to the challenge. The addition of Vincent back into the secondary will help the Bills but still think the D-line isn't strong enough to contain the jets running attack.

Houston (+7) over Denver L
Yes it is at milehigh and the Broncos got crushed there last week but the Texans are not just going to roll over. They have a solid young team that rarely gives up. I'm not sold on Jake Plummer being able to lead this team without forcing turnovers. I think Houston has enough talent to make this game interesting. Denver needs to establish the running game, something they have gone away from, houston is good enough to play the run.

SD (-6.5) over NO W
NO off a bye week might have sorted some things out but they just don't have the leadership to stay with SD. I'm not high on SD but they have bought into the Shottenhimer (sp) system and it shows. Too many weapons for the terrible NO defense to cover. LT makes it so easy for Brees off play action to find a lot of WR or GATES. Defensively SD isn't Baltimore but NO isn't a Juggernaut either. The line has tough time opening holes for McAllister, Brooks isn't a very good QB, the WR's have dropsies and overall there is a lot of finger pointing going on. At SD the chargers come out confident.

Nice card!

I love the Steelers this weekend, my strongest NFL play of the year. Eagles may be 7-0, but they are weak defensively and Baltimore showed how to defend them last week. They were lucky to win last week, but not so lucky this week. Think Steelers win by at least 10 at home.

Good Luck!

Redskins (+3) over Lions W

No quit in coach Gibbs, the defense will force Joey into turnovers. A very heavy dose of Portis! No Lavar, no problem the guy has been dead weight all season. Redskins defensive scheme intercepted Farve 3 times.

5-3 on the day not too bad?? If KC had any hint of a defense!!!!!

Ravens (-6) over Cleveland W

At home the ravens play very well, J.Lewis is back and wants to play with a little bit extra tonight. R. Lewis has a little bit of a chip on his shoulder from the loss last week. Even though the browns held the ravens down in their first meetings, the ravens will be ready for tonights game.

6-3 on the Sunday!

Indy (-7) over Minny
The Vikings are a hot and cold team. Without Moss the offense takes a big hit but more so mentally than performance wise. Culpepper has the threats at WR and RB to have a big day, but he is not comfortable without Moss on the field. Both team defense's struggle and Manning is having another huge season. Both teams are dome/turf teams so no real advantage there. Both teams have solid kickers. IMO the colts are more reliable than Minny. For example the GB game...They traded TD's with GB for a while but Indy has the ability to do that all day, and minny will make mistakes and go 3 and out.
