FSU (-6.5) over NC St W

I really like NC St when I look at talent levels. Both teams have great players and a lot of talent! Still the QB of NC St does not have me sold. If Rix was in for the noles I would be all about the pack, but with Sexton in IMO the noles have the advantage. REALLY don't like the fact FSU is not a good road team! At home the pack will have a few tricks up their sleeves. With the beating Miami and GT gave in NC, I have to go with FSU.

Arkansas St (-7) over Utah st W
Arkansas st is tough at home (won vs. Troy and played well against memphis) and Utah isn't the best road team. The head coach was just fired for Utah st, not sure if these kids come out ready to play. Arkansas St's crowd isn't the craziest but they still should be in full effect! Game was on ESPN Plus.

Irish,

Not sure, but I don't think the Arkansas State game is going to be nationally televised. I thought the only game on tonight was FSU.

Memphis (-6) over So. Miss

So. Miss CB's are hurting. Almond will play but last game looked very rusty after being off for about a month. Cincy (who is coming on of late) torched this team passing! So. Miss has struggled all year with teams that pass the ball. Memphis as the Louisville game showed plays very well at home. Memphis doesn't have a stingy defense so I would think the Tigers are going to have to out score the Eagles. IMO they can, because So. Miss offense is run based and Memphis can crowd the line. If the tigers force Almond to beat them they have a good chance to force 3 and outs or turnovers!

UVA (-3.5) over Miami
@ home UVA is very tough, on the road the hurricanes struggle. This is UVA's last home game so a normally rowdy crowd should be even more with this game! UNC & Clemson ran the ball very well against this Miami team and IMO UVA should be able to have the same success. Durant was able to scramble and make things happen, something Haggens should be able to do as well. Berlin has started to settle down, the front of UVA has to get pressure to make him force throws! He is due for a few turn-overs and this is a defense that can make that happen. As UVA has success with the Run look for Miami to counter with pulling the safeties into the box, this allows TE Miller to get big gains! Both teams have good special teams. Still the running game of UVA should be too much!

Fresno (-20) over Hawaii
The Warriors are just out right terrible on the road. Losing to Boise by 60 and UTEP by 30 and Rice by 12. Fresno has to establish the run! I'm not sold on this bulldog team but at home they almost beat UTEP so I have to give them the edge over Hawaii. Still spotting the warriors 3 TD's isn't something I want to do especially with that spread offense. However the it will be a little cold for the warriors and the bulldogs should have their way on offense. Pinigar has to keep the mistakes out of his game!

Bowling Green (-10) over Marshall

BG has not really played anyone of late in Marshall's caliber. Still these games BG has played have allowed the offense to come together and gain a little confidence. This is BG first real test at home, which is also their last home game. Marshall has a very tough time on offense moving the ball with consistency. The defense for BG has a little more confidence after a few weeks of knocking around teams. Bowling Green has the league's best turnover margin (+1.22), ranks 17th nationally in pass efficiency defense (106.14), and ranks 21st nationally in scoring defense (18.11)

The reason I like this play is the BG offense is suited for beating the Marshall defense. BG is 3rd in passing offense (320.9),4th in scoring (42.4) and pass efficiency (167.6), and 6th in total offense (491.2). As long as the O-line keeps Gadard (sp) away from their QB the BG offense should be able to pass the ball all day!

Small play
Hawaii/Fresno UNDER (63) L
Looking at the bulldogs to lay the wood but not as heavy as Boise. :yup Think the warriors can score 14-17, looking at a final of 45-17.

Cheers

EDIT** I knew the warriors were bad but never thought the bulldogs would put up that number!

Bama (+7.5) over LSU L
The tigers struggled with the Troy defense, the bama defense is very strong and should cause LSU fits. Even though Bama is very banged up they still have enough talent to keep it close.

Michigan (-13.5) over Northwestern W

N'Western struggled on the road against Penn St, the atmosphere in the big house will be rocking and the wolverines defense will HAVE to step up! Don't think any CB for N'Western can cover Edwards.

Irish,

Like UVA, WVU and Bama. This is truely the biggest game at UVA since they were #1 against G-Tech in 1991 which they lost. This game is more important than when they gave FSU its first conference loss. Weather is suppose to be Decent in C-ville this evening. As a Hokie find it hard to pull for UVA but if they win and VA Tech beats MD next Thursday, this sets up a huge game between UVA and VTech on Nov. 27th.

WVU should be rockin today, sold out stadium and the Big East title at stake. Look for some couch burning tonight in M-town.

Bama should stay close, LSU doesn't have that explosive offense...only scary part is at night in Death Valley...that place rocks like no other once those cajuns get their dozen minimal drinks in them!!!Love that place at night!
