Seahawks (-6.5) over the Cards
I like Arizona but in this spot the seahawks are pretty hungry after coming so close in their last two games. The Cards have a rejuvenated Emmitt Smith but I can see the seahawks shutting him down and forcing McNown to beat them. If that is the case then Seattle should have a few INT's on the stat sheet at the end of the day. Alexander will have a good day running the ball because Hasellbeck (sp) will be successful throwing the ball. Robinson may be suspended but adding Jerry Rice to this team helps a lot more that people think. It finally give them a possession receiver. Rice knows this offense and should be able to contribute right away. Just too much firepower for Arizona to handle, the Seahawks will come out firing.

Packers (-3.5) over Dallas
2 teams going in opposite directions. Sherman has decided to take over play calling on offense and it is a good sign for GB fans. The offensive CO forgot he has one of the best NFL arms in the game and thought to turn GB into a running team. Sherman knows to run the ball you must have the threat of pass, against the lions he did a good job and the pack make amends to the Lambo faithful

Philly (-7) over Cleveland
Garcia had a great day against Cincy throwing TD's but he did have 2 picks! Something the Eagles defense will probable do as well. The new dimension Terrell Owens adds to the Eagles is frightening (as a redskins fan), he should be able to get deep all day on this Cleveland secondary. McNabb had a sub-par number day last weekend and I don't think he has 2 weeks in a row of it. Also the running game of Philly is starting to be productive. They are a very hot team right now. AND TO just does not like Garcia, he will have a little more motivation to get into the endzone!

May have one or two more games

TO
Like all those plays but I do think that Packer game will be close. Dallas will have to review all the mistakes they had last week like letting Testiverde (sp) throw the ball quick! Also Dallas defense will need to stop that GB run and get ahead early. I do like packers to get the win though.. just seems like 3.5 is 1/2 a point to high. I think it will drop to 3 by game time but thats just my opinion.

GL on your plays.. Followed you last week on your Pittsburg which you called right on the money.

Thanks about the Steelers

Looking at GB, I would love that line to dip but I'm almost positive it won't. This Cowboy team found ways to win in the beginning of the season but are struggling as teams are starting to get into mid season form. Personally I think the difference maker (hate to admit it) sherman calling the plays. Bad news for Dallas is they lose a WR and get a new one but he doesn't know the system yet. Also the Cowboys struggle to run the ball, but might have success against a terrible GB defense. Still Farve will open it up with the passing game. Thats how this team will win. I don't understand why they went away from the screen pass?? I like your plays, bets of luck this weekend!

Cheers

Good luck Irish.

It's tough to take the Packers atm, but you're dead right...Dallas are ordinary at best, and pretty sure the line opened at 3.5 for a reason. ;)

BTW
I noticed you were a Redskins fan .I never thought we'd be 2-4 at this point.
As a die hard Skins fan myself I'm starting to think perhaps Clinton Portis was a product of the system. Denver O-line was one of the best. The majority of his RY came against piss poor Run D of the AFC West. NFC East plays much tougher D...
I hope I'm wrong

The off-season was so promising!! I think Clinton Portis is a great RB but he needs to have the O-line tailored for his style. If you watch him in games he is running up the backs of his blockers, thats not good at all. In Denver he made one cut to the hole and gone, here it's more about patience. The better the O-line gets the better Portis will do. Over the past games there have been different plays thrown into the mix that use his ability a little better. Hope they get some things together during the bye week, still lots of football to play. I'm not a Lavar fan (IMO a bit overrated) but it will be nice to get him back because he does have more ability then Marshall!

Glad to see you on the Eagle and Seahawks!

Chiefs (-3.5) over Atlanta
I am not sold on the Falcons at all this year. I think the Chiefs are a solid team that just doesn't get it done in the fourth quarter! IMO Arrowhead should be enough to lift this team for the win. The Falcons defense is good and quick, getting hall back certainly helps them in the secondary. They held LT to only 80- yards of total offense!! The Chiefs have to show up on defense and keep Vick in the pocket. It is easy to see he is uncomfortable;e with this offense and his passing number reflect that. Let him throw and HOPE your secondary can make a play! Offensively KC has gotten a WR lift from Morton, he helps spread the field, now KC can use Gonzalez more and IMO they need to give the ball to Priest MORE. He needs to touch (rushing and receiving) the ball almost 30 times a game!

2-2 on the Sunday. :soapbox: Just a few things to say about yesterday before I post my Monday night write-up. "Roughing the Passer" call on Dawkins in the ending mins of the Eagles game  >> are you kidding me, did that ref have money on the browns (he was in the air before the ball left and his hands touched him as he came down, not pushed him just touched him)?
:cursin: And Seattle might be won of the most over hyped teams in the NFL. I watched almost every second half snap and they just looked terrible. Dropped passes, bad routes, poor blocking, even worse passing!! Someone on this forum said they barely beat some bad teams this year and it is coming back to haunt them against semi-decent teams. I will be looking at the Seattle game next week very carefully because this team deserves no respect!
NOW

Broncos (-6.5) over Cincy
Cincy has a QB IMO that is no where near ready to lead this team. They have questions at RB, Warrick is hurt so Johnson has Bailey on him all night. The LB's of Denver are very quick and will cause problems for this offense. Cleveland did a pretty good job of shutting this team down and Denver will have to attempt to do the same. Offensively, Shannahan has realized what Plummer (sp) strength is...throwing on the roll out. Sound a little like Garcia doesn't it? Both Cleveland and Denver roll the QB out and use the TE as soon as the LB close. Also IMO the CB's of Cincy cannot compete with Leile (sp). Smith is tough in his own right an should get most of the attention of the Defensive Co, and that's when Lelie (sp) should beat him deep. Also, the running game of Denver will be successful against this Bengals defense. Droughns (sp) much like Terrell Davis is a find the hole one cut and power back. Cleveland had success running and finding the back out of the backfield against the Bengals defense. Playing in Cincy is tough the crowd should be hostile but the team is not what they were a year ago. IMO it starts with the off season moves to bench Kitner (sp) and trade Dillon. The leadership is missing in the locker room for this team. Denver will test them deep early. Cincy will come out expecting the run and plummer will go deep, probable off play action! Then I see a dose of Droughns once the secondary is on their heels!
