With you on Minny and WVU.

PSU's offense is rotten and I am not impressed with VT's either. I realize that NCST is for real, but one man isn't going ot get it done for the Hokies.

Lions Roar....I like the Minny play a lot. I was not happy the line didn't come out till mid week but the QB situation at state was ??? Still surprised that the gophers would be spotting only 14, I was looking at 20 easy. Did you see them last week against N'Western? They could have easily continued to pound the ball getting 5 yards a carry in the closing minutes but instead they pull out a halfback pass!!! Yes that is running up the score but IMO they are out for blood in the big 10!

Cheers

Thanks for the supports, started off well

New Mexico (+10) vs. Utah

Utah leads the league and is 11th in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 40.2 points per game. The Utes also top the MWC with 463.5 yards per contest. The Lobos, meanwhile, are allowing 322.0 yards and 16.2 points per game, both conference lows.

The past 2 meetings between these schools has been a close game, one loss into overtime, the other a lobos win. RUSHING was the key in the lobos win last year, they gained over 400 yards on the ground. Starting running back DonTrell Moore (knee) is questionable, he should play. The Lobos lead the Mountain West Conference in scoring defense (16.25 ppg), rushing defense (66.2 ypg) and total defense (322.0 ypg).

The lobos have played solid competition coming into tonights game. Wash St, Org St, Texas Tech. The Lobo defense was able to hold the pass happy TT to 24 and Oregon St to only 17 points. Looking at Utah the schedule has been kind to them. Arizona, A&M and Air Force all good teams but IMO not as talented as the NM opponents. Both teams have laid the wood to their instate rivals away. Key for New Mexico is being productive on offense. Get the home crowd involved and get a score or turn over early.

Past meeting have shown this to be a very high scoring affiar (82) (53) (77) in the past three years! Play on the OVER (48).

Boise (-37.5) over SMU

A lot of chalk, but after further review SMU away has lost by a combined 96 to 7 or by a 48 point average per loss. The Broncos has to be ready to get back on the field after last weeks close call with BYU. The mustang's will face the brunt of the storm on the smurf turf. Boise has a problem stopping the other teams. They average 48 points per game but the defense is letting the other team score 24 points a game. the Mustangs have not forced a turnover in four games. The Mustangs lost this match-up 45-3 last year in Dallas. The offense should have no problem and the defense will find it easier to shut this team down.

Final Weekend Card
WVU (+2)
Fresno (-14)
Colorado (+7.5)
Stanford (-12.5)
Auburn (+2)
Minny (-14)
New Mexico (-10)
Boise (-37.5)
Navy (+1) W
UConn (-6.5) W
Marshall (-7) W

Small plays
LSU (ML) - gut feeling ?
ND (+3) - Defense!
Hawaii (-11) - how due are they @home?
Oregon (-3)

Great start to the week Irish! I like your Stanf, Min, Aub, BOY, Ore & LSU plays to round out the week. Wv scares me though. Although VT is having a sub-par year, you know Beamer's Boys play tough at Lane Stadium (unless it's against NCSt) and those special teams never cease in stealing a victory from you (I hate recalling some of those stressful nights from the past) GL on your way to a productive week!! :)
