Hey guys
U r all way too kind....
Thanks for all the ideas on how to "get round" the problem, much appreciated. But fair's fair, am not going to intrude on work time with my "outside interests" and deceiving them would just make matters worse.
I have actually found that, tres surprisingly, I'm not missing the daily grind all that much. Miss a bit of moolah fer sure, but have adjusted my handicapping and bankroll accordingly to work around a new schedule.
My handicapping focus has now shifted to areas where I can do all the legwork mid-week, both at home and at work, on sports played just once a week. So I'm looking at EPL soccer, and the Down Under codes of rugby, rugby league and aussie rules.
It means I can collate all the significant info during the week and dedicate sufficient time to the games I want to play without it effecting a thorough analysis - thanks to BB for some sway this way.
What I do miss most is the interaction - what MadJacks was made for. I came here because I saw it as the best place in the world for me to get better at my craft. Its inevitable rise in popularity took away some of that clarity of purpose but it's still my spiritual home and I miss both the outstanding input of those 'cappers I respect and also being able to add my two cents now and again.
I will try to zap some things thru on those sports I'm still grinding away at - without guarantee. Like I said before, don't hesitate to get my e-mail from Da Boss - any reminder on my e-mail might get a quick response, pretty lonely these days ...oh yeah, miss the Mojo bad too!!...
Hope all my friends and family are well - the Anders household is a happy one, love seeing my kids grow and blossom, not looking forward to autumn but at least it means I can terrorise the football fields of the Waikato again...htf did ESPN leave me off their "Ultimate Scorecard"!! No bigger footballing legend than the "14 Anders" shirt .... Pete Rose my a$$, and I could out-cap him any day of the week even given current circumstances too!! LMFAO!!
Better fly, take care all..
Your Kiwi mate
