Despite a decent performance, you don't think sKerry made it all the way through a public debate without a few whoppers, do you? Of course not. There were some big ones...we'll hit the high spots.

Jim Lehrer asked sKerry about the times he has accused the president of lying about Iraq. The Poodle replied that "Well, I've never, ever used the harshest word as you just did." In other words, Kerry says he never directly accused President Bush of lying. Let's go to the tape.

SEPTEMBER 2003, KERRY SAID BUSH ADMINISTRATION "LIED" AND "MISLED." "This administration has lied to us. They have misled us. And they have broken their promises to us. Campaign Event, Claremont, NH, 9/20/03

AND In December 2003, Kerry told a New Hampshire editorial board that Bush had lied about his reasons for going to Iraq. So if he thinks Bush is lying about Iraq, then he is lying about not accusing the president of being a liar (which he clearly has done) John Kerry has a problem with the truth. It seems he just makes it up as he goes along.

And THAT is the only thing you can come up with. I guess lying about WMDs isn't NEARLY as repugnant.

DTB: Face the Truth for Once in your Life. Bush lied, his party lies as a matter of course. And its not called the Grand Oil Party for nothing. They are stealing you and your kids blind and you smile and hand over your wallet.

The other fact is the election is LOST for your boy just like it was his daddy. I'll tell you a little secret. Where I live went heavily for Bush in 2000 - Now, there are 3 to 1 Kerry yard signs and bumper stickers compared to W. Now that means one of 2 things: Either Kerry is going to win here OR those favoring Bush are ASHAMED of him and don't want anyone to know they are going to vote for him. I don't know which it is but either way it doesn't say a lot for your party.

Its hard work, uhhhhhhhhh, its hard work, uhhhhh.

Could you please prove one lie...thanks.

By the way, a lie is saying something you know to be false when you say it. Now sir...on with the proof.

Well I suppose saying "we have no connection to the swift boat veterans group" wasn't a lie.

I suppose in the 2000 debates saying that he wouldn't be in the business of nation-building when referring to the correctly-executed operations in Bosnia under Clinton and then running into Iraq at the 1st chance wasn't a lie.

Accusing Kerry of sending a mixed message on Iraq though he knows that is not true - that wasn't a lie I guess.

Saying he supports the troops and then doing nothing to provide support for the wounded - I suppose that's not a lie.

Same story for police and firefighters. Same story for working people.

However its his actions that are really horrifying. Tax cuts for his country club and Yale buddies. Look we can go on and on over all the same crap. November will decide this.

Just because 10 people tell the same story don't make it a lie. --Allen Iverson's wife

Another example was when sKerry was talking about Bush protecting the homeland. Kerry said "That's why they had to close down the subway in New York when the Republican Convention was there." The only problem with this?

Yep. ..you guessed it...the New York City subway did not close at all during the convention.

Ocelot, I fail to see how you continue to say that Bush lied about Iraq. It is all about data. Obviously you don't get it. Let me explain. Bush presented the best available data and intelligence information available on Iraq to the public, Congress, and the UN. He didn't hide anything. He made decisions based on the data and the safety of the USA. Not once did he intentionally lie or mislead anybody on Iraq. Hindsight is always 20/20 and that is all that Kerry focused on last night. It is easy to criticize when you are not in the hot seat. I believe what is really bothering you is that Bush is a decision maker. That annoys liberals.

I am fed-up with the liberals saying Bush lied. He presented the best available intelligence. Period. You want to talk about lying - let?s talk about Clinton. He lied under oath over and over and was impeached by the House. I would be willing to lay serious cash that you would support Clinton and his documented lies but are criticizing Bush for something you really do not understand. It is amazing the hypocrisy of the left.

Bush is not the type of man that would lie.

Whitetail, where in my post did I say anything about Bush lying about Iraq? Please carefully read my post before responding to it.

I supported the war just as Kerry did at the time it was launched. That does NOT mean I support the manner it has or is being carried out. That is all Kerry has said. You can put words in his mouth as you do in mine and you can say it 500 times over like Bush but that DON'T make it so.

What in hell do I have to prove to you anything for? Would it change your opinion if God himself told you? Obviously you don't accept any of the factual news already? I have better things to do than run around doing research for you.

Ed? Is that you??....Surely not taking the piss out of our good Dr. Freeze, surely?!!!!!!!!!
Bush is not the type of man that would lie!?? ...Come on Ed, come clean mate!!

On the off chance it IS actually a serious post.........the US was SERIOUSLY low on oil towards the end of 2003. Bush told various financial intitutions the economy will pick up within the next year. Fact.
I'm no US swinging voter. I KNOW Clinton lied. No hypocracy here champ.
Bush a decision maker??...Well, yeah, maybe!...But for SO many different reasons that you might believe.
(Even now I have a hard time believing Bush actually made any decision...There must be someone in the background pulling the strings.....Sorry, but he is one of the most unintelligent morons I have ever seen in public office....Hey, even you must know the person with the most $$ wins presidential pre-selection, right?

Mr. C.:

Gotta plead ignorance on this one my upside down friend. Even I, in my best EAE personality couldn't come up with something as wacked as that. I think, like sexually transmitted diseases, he is real. Actually, I think it is Dr. Freeze's brother who was cryogenically frozen in time a la Austin Powers and has returned as mini-Freeze.

It simply amzes me that you would worry about unproven assumptions of lies, yet let someone scowl and shake his finger and tell you a blantant proven lie and lie under oath and think he's Gods gift---hmm and I thought Iraqi's were hard to understand.

and their stealing me blind--please explain-----
If anyone steals me blind I figure I have no one to blame but myself.

From a logical standpoint you must consider this--
With the liberals trying to support all the (its not my fault population) and being backed in election by same,I would have to conclude they have to take earnings of those that do produce to support them. So since you can't take (steal) from those that have nothing I have to surmise if there is any stealing going on it I know which side it will be coming from.
