How her lawyer goes to sleep at night is beyond me. You know the spiel....my job is to uphold the law, due process....all that fucking bullshit they mutter.
I just don't get how deep down, especially if her lawyer(s) have young children of their own, they look in the mirror in the morning.
Makes me think of the movie The Devil's Advocate.

The only time I watched any of this crap was when we were on vacation and my friend's wives were glued to the TV. Even then it was only background noise for me.
Having said that, I still have a hard time with hearing the verdict. My only knowledge is that she lied to the police almost every chance she had and never reported her daughter's disappearance (I believe it was her parents that finally contacted authorities).
From news reports: Prosecutors hammered on the lies Anthony, then 22, told from June 16, 2008, when her daughter was last seen to a month later when sheriff's investigators were notified. Those include the single mother telling her parents she couldn't produce Caylee because the girl was with a nanny named Zanny -- a woman who doesn't exist. She also said she and her daughter were spending time in Jacksonville, Fla., with a rich boyfriend who didn't exist, and she claimed that Zanny had been hospitalized after an out-of-town traffic crash and that they were spending time with her.
I don't have any kids of my own but my girlfriend has two beautiful daughters (10 & 3). Earlier this summer our 10 year old was out playing with friends and decided to go to the mall with one of her friends and did not tell anyone where she was going. We called all of her friends that we knew and within an hour we had notified the police and were frantically searching all over town for her. This woman went over a month without notifying police of her daughter's disappearance, but found the time to party, sleep around and get tattoos.
Now this woman will see little or no jail-time and will make millions on book deals and movie/TV rights.

Hilarious how some think people need a life if they caught 10 minute sound bites of this trial but sit there all Saturday and Sunday watching guys try to hit a ball in a little hole or what a bunch of clowns with sunglasses playing poker.
I could not agree more, which, as you know, is a rarity. Many act as if reading an article about this trial, or as you indicate, catching some commentary on television, are the equivalent of attending the trial or watching the trial on live television.
