65- I think they take their jerseys off to exchange them with their opponents. Don't know this for sure but remember seeing it happen before more than once; sort of a souvenir thing.

Yes it is a long held tradition to exchange jersey's w/ your opponets after the game. Especially in hard fought battles & in particular in international matches or tournament games.

It is a show of respect & sportsmanship.

sixfive glad you liked it,it is truley the worlds sport.unlike baseball and football where their is no true world champ b/c the world doesnt play..imagine 10 NFL's around the world all bidding on the same players and have their own champiomships.game at a very high level though b/c the whole world plays it so theirs enough players to go around.and then it culminates with this every 4 years b/c even though the players make millions they all play when selected for their counrty...good thing its not one and done b/c the usa kind of showed today what they are capable of .this wouldve been a win if it wasnt for the ref.and if i was their id be the 1st drunken idiot to start throwing chit on the field..
