This is by far the f'ugliest game I have ever seen... and I didn't bet on this game, by the way. (And it's a good thing I didn't because I was leaning towards WV -7)

One of the worst coached halves I've ever seen. It's shocking how USF has let this game get away. Nice job of hiking the ball with :10 on the clock too Grothe...

WTF is S. Fla doing? Their offense is trying not to lose this game rather than going out and finishing this WV team off. This game will come down to a 2 pt. conversion as time expires. If WV converts it will be over. Such bullshit it has come to this!

Yep, I think they will give up the 6 but stop the 2. They started mailing it in in the 3rd quarter only up 2 scores.

My bad. They actually hung on. Lucky to escape that one. Won't be betting those jerkoffs again.

Well the Bulls got the win. They have a top 5 defense, but don't have a top 50 offense. However, a good defense can propel a team a long way and it got South Florida by West Virginia tonight.

I think homefield was huge too. I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell they win that game if it's played in Morgantown.

glen. seriously? the defense is STOUT. come on defense wins games. they got complacent, why not. what could wvu do? why press and turn the ball over. manage the game. they mentioned cinc. why not? they lead the nation in turn overs.

last time i checked the steelers won quite a few super bowls with defense?

dont hate.

Ok, that was an exaggeration. Sure, they COULD win if they played them in Morgantown, but
I highly doubt they would. Homefield in college foots is HUGE IMO. That was one of the main reasons I was on USF tonight. Road teams hardly ever cover in nationally televised weeknight games.

As for getting complacent, I can understand them doing so in the last few minutes. But they started to get complacent in the third quarter when they were only up 2 scores. That's playing not to lose, instead of playing to win, which is unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. If West Va. scores a TD on that last drive EVERYONE would be talking about how USF got too conservative too early. But they didn't, so now it just becomes a great USF win, even though it never should have even been that close.

And I was actually on USF +7 for the game and +5 for the 2h, so trust me, I'm happy they covered. I just don't have a lot of respect for the way they kind of mailed it in so early. And I certainly won't bet them again knowing that they have that tendency.

The biggest thing they did wrong was get greedy in the red zone a couple times. Once was after a turnover leading to really good field position.

I don't mind the play call too much, but nothing was there and Groethe forced it down the middle both times into double coverage. Easy INT's for WV.

They could have and should have put this Mountaineer team away for good.

Both 4th and Long's hurt bad. Just glad it ended, I won 4 bets off that game and if it had gone 21-21, I would have been in trouble.

SF's D is for real, but WV also gave them some gifts.
