From a situational handicapping perspective, it doesn't get much better than this game.

Let's start with the UVA side...

Cavs are coming off THREE STRAIGHT MONSTER GAMES (Duke, UNC, VILLE). All were national TV with tons of hype. UVA won two of them. I think it is only natural these kids will not be bringing the same fight to Raleigh to play lowly but pesky NC ST.

On the injury front, this will be UVA's first game without stud swingman Justin Anderson (broken finger), who is their best athlete and one of the top 3-point shooters in the ACC.

For NC ST...

They are playing for their tourney lives over the next two weeks and have had EIGHT DAYS since they last played -- a really bad loss at Wake. They already BEAT Duke in Raleigh and took Notre Dame to OT (a game they were up by 16 in the first half I think).

Moreover, the last time UVA played at NC STATE was Jan. 11 last year and UVA WON BY 31 POINTS!! I imagine NCST was reminded of that game a few times this week.

Looks like line opened at 8, I'm getting 7 right now but will certainly invest in the ML as well.

NCST 66-63.

Thanks for the info. but I believe that the last time they played was January 7th of this year and it resulted in a 10pt UVA win at home.
