best poker show on tv. imo better than all the all-in fests that they show on tournaments.

it was also a bad call by negraneau. theres very little he can beat that would over raise that much. any other player at that table he lays it down, but gus gets action i guess. he talks about later how that was a bad call on his part.

I know pro's are not meant to get rattled with emotions with tv cameras, however.....

I think Negranue was influenced by not "wanting to get bluffed out and humiliated" by the famous crazy gus hansen on a national broadcast show.

i haven't played poker in a long time, so i may not know when to call & when to fold...but how can a player with a full house not at least call....

I usually end up watching all the poker on espn and travel but have never seen this.

Are these cash games? Do they front all of that out of pocket...meaning Daniel N. lost 600gs of his own bankroll?

yep all own money...........some buy in for 100 grand...some more.....some win and leave...and some lose and leave.

Some lose...come back with more money and lose more :com:

and the Canadian boy didn't lose 600 grand....that was the total pot. I believe on that hand he lost 333 000, not 600 000
