Man, what an awful last 24 hours. Drop six units in two days. This is particularly distressing since the dogs have drilled the shiit out of the sportbooks, and I wasn't on them across the board (as I did last season). I'm not hear to bitch, only to add a couple of points.
1. CUM made me money this season. I was very angry at the lack of effort tonight, especially the horrendous shooting under the net when CUM had the ball down low. But the fact is -- there is no way you are going to win, let alone cover versus a team that shoots 63 percent from the field. The Duke Blue Bastards are sure to get red hot when you fade them as a big favorite, but they'll also sleepwalk through the better half of their games. Like Kansas, this is a team I will not touch the rest of the season. You have no fuccking clue which team is going to show up from night to night. As for CUM, give those boys some viagra.
2. On a personal note, I was depressed after putting down a big bet on CUM. I had a large bet on CONN earlier and this could have been a two dime day -- a very nice score. As it turned out, it was a loser. To drawn my sorrows, I went and saw a movie. I wasn't sure what to go see -- so I just picked a random movie off the marquee. It was the 10 pm showing of a movie called THE HOURS. I knew this movie was nominated for Best Picture, so I figured, what the fucck? So, to escape my sadness from losing that CUM bet I sit through THE HOURS. Of course, no one told me that everycharacter in the movie is contmeplating suicide or dying. Really nice. Nice way to end a bloody, blistering day, filled with disappointment and anger.
