Careful with Seattle! Don't let their hype fool ya. They are a good team for sure and may very well win their league. But they aren't gonna win every game through October. They lost one this past weekend and they gave up 9 runs and barely won by one run against Colorado yesterday. Proceed with caution. Trends are not forever.

I am playing Seattle tonight on the RL+125, last night also had them on the RL, and that one-run victory cost me....I foresee Chacon getting torched, I am not too big on Moyer, but he may keep the Colo hitters off balance with his spot pitching...final score prediction SEA 11 and COL 6.

Run lines are sometimes a good play, but you may want to be careful. Whenever possible I try not to give runs to a home team, especially a good home team. I have a lean to the under in this one but will not decide untill later......

rain and lightning all afternoon and very windy blowing in from right field-air will be heavier than normal--chacon seems to do better against teams with newer hitters--not experienced ones like seattle has--lefties give rockies trouble--should be a good game

Never buy stock in Anything.com...
Never let your dog be your designated driver...
Never agree with your wife that she is putting on weight...
Never drink from the opposite side of a glass...

And NEVER take the under at Coor's field.

as i am so relieved to know that i am not the only sick pup around here that's been studying the under in this game, let me toss a few other bits out for consideration. seems to be a fairly uncommon north wind blowing at coors, aroud 20 mph, gusting to 24 mph straight in from center field. raining now and 90% probability for tonight. home plate ump meals appears to be one of the umps that made the strike zone adjustment this year. he's been fairly neutral in past years but this season he's 3-8 to the under, calling 63% strikes and with a strikeout/walk ratio over 2. in his last five games he's 0-4 to the under with a 6.8 runs/game average. now none of that was at coors i know, but like kevin mentioned chacon pitches reasonably well at home where his starts are 2-3 to the under. and, rockies average almost two rpg less against lefties at home. what does it all mean, auntie em?

I too am taking Seattle on the run line given the fact that they are visitors and it is at Coors. Colorado doesn't hit lefties nearly as well and Moyer is a quality left hander that should be able to spot his pitches effectively. Seattle hits righties much better than they hit lefties, Chacon hasn't shown me anything to get too excited about either.

Seattle -1.5 +125
