Didnt get Skins ML tonight, but nailed 10* on Skins +6, so went 7-4-1ATS this week for plus 36 units....the way this crazy unpredictable shit has been going, I'll take that every week of the year from here on out.

DOnt want to sound like a Pollyanna, but isnt it nice what Detroit and Buffalo are accomplishing...I saw the Lions coming as erly as last year, they have really nailed all those high draft picks they have accumulated over many years, but for a team that was concluding a horrific 5-47 SU run thru week 13 last year to have now won 7 straight games....WOW.....and they are for real and are a definite playoff team if Stafford makes it thru at least 14 games.....but Buffalo is proving there is more than one way to get it done in the NFL...think about it guys, Freddie Jacskon undrafted out of Coe College??? Stevie Johnson, 7th round draft pick, David Nelson, undrafted, Scott Chandler, off the scrap heap after Charrgers cut him, Ryan Fitzpatrick, 7th rounder out of Ivy League, off the scrap heap after Bungles cut him.....pretty amazing stuff, I dont know if they have just gotten really lucky with these finds or someone in the personnel department and scouting is doing a HELLUVA bang-up job...anyhoo...very nice to see 2 teams who have been trashcans since 1999, with very avid and passionate fans, and the two major US cities with the highest unemployment reate in the US, have something to cheer for this autumn....aside from my wagering activities, I am definitely a Lions and Bills fan for remainder of 2011...this is good for the NFL

After only 2 weeks here, this site is already my 2nd favorite football site on the INternet...really love the info exchange and different perspectives, and got turned onto some real nice college plays Saturday, including Baylor-Rice over and Kansas State, by some members here....

keep up the good work, gentlemen

I agree 100% Don't forget Chan Gailey as the coach....he was on NOBODYS radar!! This Bills team....I found myself singing with my buddies during the game "lets go Buffalo.....let's go Buffalo"

Lions...agree again 1000%!! They have been building talent for a LONG time and just need Stafford to stay healthy...this guy is the real deal and last years comeback win when he was hurt...showed the moxy this kid is made off...

It is still week #3 and let me say...Buffalo cant keep this pace up getting down early so much!!

How many times do you see teams come strong out of the gates and crawl o the finish line? ime will trll...but I am routing for both of these teams AND cities. Just cant route for Lions next week.....:0074

First 3 weeks great example of why the NFL is the healthiest of all the pro sports. Bad franchises can, with solid management, turn it around and become competitive in a few years.

Every week there are only a few games that are one sided, the rest are within a score, many decided on the last play.....or the last series.

We gripe about parity, as bettors....but as fans its awesome.

BOL 2 all!!! :toast:

I hate to quote Colin Cowherd BUT... :scared

The Bills look good but they still have a long way to go. It reminds me of Josh McDaniels start going 6-0 a couple years back and then finishing 8-8.

The Lions on the other hand have weapons that they haven't even starting using defensively. Once rookie Nick Fairly and Suh sync up, they are going to be a force!

Great info fellas.

Right now the stock is high on Detroit and Buffalo. I'm selling Buffalo on the high and Detroit is long term.

Fave site is:

Football Outsiders, without a doubt......its kind of a "stat geek" sight, but I do use their numbers a little bit, and while you might not always agree with their perspective, (they vehemently led the call that Belichick going for it on 4th and 2 on their own 30 late in the game vs. the Colts in 2009 was the correct decision), at least they arent vanilla and they do have some very interesting statistical info as well...plus some of the other members are really knowledgable fans and supporters of their local teams, so I gleam that aspect as well.

Really looking foreard to this Sunday.....we have situations where some teams are in very bad psychological spots vs. some angry (Pats) or desperate (Falcons) teams....could be some nich moolah there!
