1mill a year in my book. I know too many people making south of that and I don't consider them rich. Most of the people I consider rich don't even work.

I would say a family income of above 100k puts you in the upper middle class.

I always used the term "well-off" for anything more than that. Say 125k-250k. Any family income above 250k per year, and you are rich sorry.

My parents are rich... I think the same as with a lot of rich people they are tight lipped about what they are actually worth.

So who knows what the actual number for being rich is.. Might be different for everybody.

Betone brings up a good point about actually saving money and not blowing it. But to me being rich is when you can do both.. Wealthy enough to pay cash for whatever you want... Yet the bank account just keeps growing..
If you still have to work to sustain your way of life... You are not rich IMO
