I truly don't believe this QB draft class is that great. Goff & Wentz are not even rated in top 20 picks by most experts/Scouts, yet the GMs and Head Coaches running the NFL teams are now looking at drafting up to 5 QBs in the first round? Really?

I don't know about how you all feel, but Hackenberg in the first round? A player who got sacked how many times at Penn St and then throws his new HC under the bus for having a lousy offense for him to play in? Hackenberg is probably the worse QB in the lot, including Paxton Lynch, who's not a bad QB, but he's not a legit first round guy.

The Rams are one of the worse ran organizations in the NFL and want to take a QB #1? The Eagles move up from 13 to 8 to 2 to take a QB? They just signed Bradford to a 2 yr deal and signed FA BU QB Chase Daniel who played in new HC Pederson's offense in KC.

I don't really think any of these QBs are as good as a Russell Wilson who went in the 4th round and I certainly don't think any are as good as Tom friggin Brady who went in the 6th round out of Michigan, but all of the sudden 5 of the QBs we all saw at one point or another on the NFL Combine or in games on Saturday or in bowl games are going to go in the first round? Really?

There are going to be some pretty happy agents and QBs if that's the case, that 5 of these unproven commodities are going in the first round when there are some very good players in Jalen Ramsey, Ez Elliott, Tunsil, Bosa, Doctson, etc., all of whom could make an immediate impact to any NFL team and should all be taken in the first 10 picks, but probably won't now due to the love the talk shows on ESPN and on talk sports radio are spreading about 5 QBs going in the first round.

Oh, how has Ryan Mallet done again in the NFL? Wasn't he a high draft at one point by New England?

Oh and backup for a few games, Brock Osweiler, gets to be a FA (not fat ass) for those who don't know what the initials mean, gets a stupid contract because he played on an NFL Super Bowl winning team and beat out an injured, aged HOF QB Peyton Manning for a few games of stardom? Does anyone remember Kevin Kolb who had a flash of fame with the Eagles and he then went to Arizona and was the talk of turning that franchise around?

Boy are there some stupid people running NFL teams if in fact 5 QBs go in the first round!!

Your alls thoughts?

Likes? Dislikes? Etc.

Thanks!

they show some old games on cable and I was watching Stanford vs cal from 2014........granted,it was roughly a year and a half ago but man, goff and Hogan looked wildly inconsistent....particularly goff who had passes batted down and just looked lost(Hogan was actually a relatively effective game manager but Stanford`s defense won them the game)......

it was just one game...and I don`t blame qb poor teams for reaching to fill the most important position in the sport(if I were a gm,i`d probably do the same thing)....but man, what a crapshoot drafting these guys is....I doubt many scouts objectively consider either goff or wentz the best pure players in this draft......

I think Lynch is a lock for the 1st round, maybe as high as SF taking him at #7....

Connor Cook for Mich. St. may sneak in at #31 to the Broncos....

So to answer your question I will say 3 definite, may 4 tops....

Lynch to SF would be a decent one, granted, Chip Kelly is there which may not be good for Lynch!!

Cook to Denver, I like Cook, he's not a downfield thrower, and he used the TE well which suits Denver's scheme and he would play for a former QB in Kubiak and Elway, so a win there if that transpires.

GW, I agree what ya said regarding Goff, fun was made of him having small hands for his heighth which I found amusing, it has some validity, but hand strength is much more important than just hand size, Russell Wilson has huge hands and they are strong, he was a pretty good baseball player at NC State, Teddy Bridgewater has bigger hands than Goff and TB is what? 6'2 probably.

Wentz played most of his college career in Non BCS competition, but for his size, he can throw downhill and he runs for a big donkey and he would fit in great with the Rams and their piss poor organization and end up a flop like Mike Glennon who's around 6'6 or 6'7, depending on who you ask, but to his credit, Glennon is still in the NFL.

Lynch is mobile as well for his size but he reminds me a lot of Ryan Mallett but Lynch's makeup I think is much different. Mallett did not do well on his psych profile test given by the BLESTO, which is a combine of NFL teams including the Bills, Lions, Eagles, Steelers, Titans and Oakland and that can say a lot, cuz, Mallett missed the plane to a game? Really? How do you do that in the NFL and you're a QB? :mj07: Says a lot about failures in the NFL.

This draft is going to be beddy interestink!
