That, no matter how much work you put into each and every game, you've looked at every angle, system, etc. You've read as much of all of our info. as time permits, you tighten up your final decisions about which way you want to play a certain game-games..... the REFS WILL KILL ALL THE WORK AND TIME YOU PUT INTO MAKING THE BEST CHOICE POSSIBLE    :gf: :bigun: :bsflag

hooks Im with ya

from what Ive heard, havent seen it, ricky williams run to 2 yl was called back for very questionable hold, fish punt, next series Texans hit bomb ... coulda been 21-6 and I wouldnt be whining here, hehe

gl, gregg

ps also feel that Philly, Pats and Fish arent as bad as most think right now ... ironic tho, eagles/pats rematch of xgame a few weeks ago in philly where eagles got blown out, i doubt either team planned on a 0-2 start

I learned that the Seahawks might actually have an NFL-caliber defense this year with Ray Rhodes as the coordinator -- as opposed to the pee-wee caliber defense we usually trotted out there last year. Slowing down a talented offense like New Orleans was encouraging at least....

Teams like Arizona and Cincinnati simply DON'T DESERVE respect just because "it's a new year."

Detroit might make one of the better teams in the league for overs. They have one of the worst secondarys and not much of a running game to rely on...

New England could end up being as bad as they looked. Dumping Milloy didn't improve the defense any -- bad news when you already seem to be lacking offensive playmakers...

Miami and Green Bay could be good teams in "name" only this year. They don't have that consistent big-play threat and are often beaten by seemingly lesser teams (especially on the road).

Some QBs will never be cured of their turnover ills. Stewart, Plummer and Manning obviously head the way in this regard.
Can't wait to see what happens in week 2.

Miami Well the Dolphins "D" aint as hot as everyone makes out.
They didn't sack Carr once today at home. Remember LY when he was sacked a total of 73 times? Carr pick apart the (Stingy?) "D" with 266 yrds which included a 78 yrd strike.

Oh BTW the Fins gave 14 pts and lost outright.

New England Patsies are just that. Ask Belichek how he spells shutout. Bills where definitely the play today. But I talked myself out of it. As I did Denver and SF. I'll put a end to that now and go with my 1st instincts without second guessing myself.

Dallas Not much to say here. This is the only time I planned to play them this year and they proved to me why.

Denver Broncos are they for real? Plummer looks like crap.
Sure Cincy had their number in the past (ATS) but if it wasn't for the last 4th Q TD the final woulda been 30-3.
CheFs take the divsion easily.

Pittsburgh I can't count the number of cappers in Vegas that pleaded with me to jump on this team today. I'm talking MAJOR players. I let my personal feelings get in the way (Steeler hater)and faded them. My bad.

Indianapolis The # 1 play in the Hilton Contest. Vegas stood to lose a helluva amount of money if this team covered.
(Not to worry they made it back :)) Well they covered
Vegas lost the money and easily made it up on the Texans.

Minnesota. My FG play in the Sweet 17 Contest and the # 2 play in the Hilton Contest. Truthfully I couldn't name a person that played GB.
GB is not only hurting on "D" but now BIG on the "O" (recievers).
Non believers better wake up cause I predicted Minny winning 10 games this year. (here comes the bashing AGAIN).

San Francisco. A Cow Power Pie. Never and I mean NEVER fade a Power Pie. Congrats Cow.

Carolina. My top play in the Sweet 17 contest. By default.
I was set with Titans but at the last moment (my bad) I noticed the hook and the rest is history, unfortunately.
At this writing the Titans were not covering the 3 anyway. They will.
Oh well there is always next week.

Giants/Rams. Blah.

AZ/Det Blah Blah.

Kansas City How bout those Chiefs ? Superbowl bound baby that 12-1 is looking even better after watching them today.

Lets see how the season closed out last year:

Minnesota closed out strong. They looked great last Sunday.
Green Bay looked terrible in their last 2 games last year and continued the trend in Week 1. Miami missed the playoffs by choking late last year and lost a game that only Wanny could lose in week 1. The Rams underperformed last year and once again get beat. At what point are they not underperforming but just overrated? Chicago lost 12 of their last 14 and looked like a bad high school team in week 1. Arizona and Cincinnati....terrible last year; no reason to see anything different.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Kind of feels like we are in week 19 of the 2002 season.
