Best part of this segment was guy he had on after Tenet that was in charge in Clinton/Bush admins on getting UBL.No nonsense straight forward answers with no dancing--learned more in his interview than I did in 3 of Tenets.

The reason I asked is the guy in charge of UBL was very straight forward about how UBL escaped Bora Bora.

We don't need Tenet o anyone else to tell us we didn't have enough boots on the ground in either theater. That is old news. As for why we missed UBL I have not heard.

this guy has been on o'reilly a few times & is a very straight shooter.
he was the head of the binladen unit under both clinton & bush. he has said basically the samething that clinton never gave the cia a kill order for osama..so he basically called clinton a liar. but we knew that already. clinton is the type of guy who would say anything to make himself look better.
i have a question for you as a vet...
don't you think the civilian & military leaders have failed the soldiers in the military in both afghanistan & iraq ?
i mean for the head of the u.s. spy agency, who admitted that he was basically calling the shots in afghanistan to acknolwedge on national tv that there weren't enough troops in the battle of bora tora to get binladen is a downright disgrace. right after saying that he should have been beaten within an inch of his life, by the families of dead soldiers, for incompetence....it's really disgusting !!
then he also goes further & agrees that there weren't enough troops in the beginning of the iraq war. because of this i feel that there have been more american casuliteis than there might have been if more troops were deployed to iraq at the start. this is another example of incompetence in our leaders.....pitiful !!
dtb if either me or you do something in our businesses that proves that we are incompetent, nobody dies....not so with our leaders who choose to go to war....

Benn lots of mistakes militarily AR--but always mistakes in all wars tons of blunders in world war 2 that cost thousands of uneccessary deaths--numerous blunders in VN--the biggest in way war was fought fought in half ass manner rather than using our full fire power--so can't say any more blunders here than others --its just were privvy to more info on as time goes on.
On the bora Bora (spl) issue--granted they mioght have not had time to mount correct offensive but as the guy said the reason we didn't get him was because they let supposedly tribal allies seal off area--and on issue he stated as reason--area was too hostile and they wanted to avert numerous U.S. casualties--I think that was very bad planning--don't want to come off as cold hearted toward troops--but personally believe the risk/reward factor made it a go for U.S. troops and go along with him on being this admins fault.
Guy sure didn't pull any punches on calling clinton-berger and clark flat out liars on issue of UBL--Must be a body language thing as Bill's ole :nono: in UBL interview was carbon copy of the "I did not have sex with that women"-- rant.
Stevie I was just interested in your comments considering you if you didn't view it--as there were no transcripts out yet at time of your post.
I made suggestion it might be good viewing and informative--it was better than I figured and you would have enjoyed as it had negative aspects of this admin as well as previous.
Wouldn't hurt you to tune in every now and then like the rest of the world

Got to love it two right wingers discussing Tenets interview with Oreilly and both come to the conclusion it was all Tenets and Clintons fault. Just priceless.
I caught some of this interview because i couldn't stomach much of it but if you two yo yo's couldn't see ole Bill bullying to get his answers and not what Tenet had to say you should check into getting somebody to pull your head out of your asses.
