maybe the guy doesn`t have anyone to turn to....

good lord......you make yucks seem like mother theresa...

chill out.... cut the guy a little slack....

You're right, I don't. I've always had alot of friends, but none that I was close enough to on a side where I could reach out to. They're either too imature about it, or I'm just not close with them on that level.

DRays- I've admitted my faults. I can't change your opinions about me. I'm not asking for sympathy, I'm looking for answers.

DRays is right. Alot of people on here I've treated like shit, but I haven't cared. Most of my life I've only cared about myself.

I was down at work the last couple days and some co-workers have been asking what's up, if I'm ok, etc...I quietly just say "I'm gonna be fine." - - Finally, a guy I work with who's very religous came up to me and asked why I was so down and out. I trembled, "I'm turning a new leaf, I need to change."..and then I almost broke down, but held my composure. I stared out the window off into a field, and just thunk...

There are lots of personalities and lots of egos at MJs and in most threads it's appropriate to come down on someone.

This one isn't one of them.

The guy gets on here asking for help, he's obviously going through a difficult time right now. His age is irrelevant, what is not is that he's in a dark place and is reaching out for help.

So for those of you coming down on him with the tough love you are way out of line. If you've got nothing to offer in terms of help or advice then stay the fuck out of the thread dickheads.

Are you still pissed that your Heels got handled... He said he got a smirk outta the responses. Bucs, you mentioned a coworker thats religious. Make sure he's not in some crazy cult, and attend a service with him. I was raised a Christian, and can't tell you what a relationship with the Lord can do for you. If that does'nt work, then give Dr. Mcgillicutties another call..:mj07:

He's ultra-conservative, and religous, but no cult like stuff. Sometimes it's too much, but maybe, just maybe I should've listened to him all along :(

I've just been stuck in this old me for so long and I got used to it. I really hope and think I'll change, for the better, it's just going to take alot of pain, but time.

Sometimes, people that are new to religion, or people that really look for someone to share the word of God can come off pushy. It's just that their excited to spread the message to someone that may have never heard it. It can be weird, just tell him your interested, but to tone it down and take it slow. If you have no idea what the word of God is about, and hearing it for the first time, it will knock you on your arss. Just keep an open mind when hearing it, it will take time to fully comprehend it. Good luck and give it a try.

I'm far from spoiled.

This isn't all just about my ex-girlfriend. It has alot to do with how I've treated co-workers, friends, and family as well. I've had bad habits of being disrespectful without thinking of their feelings. I've always been about MYSELF, and never took the time to think about anyone else.

Now tell me again you're not spoiled.

We can sit around here and hug each other and cry on each other's shoudlers and tell you that it's going to be ok, and that you are a fine fella and she just doesn't know what she is missing - but that would just be feeding what got you to this point.

This is the point in your life where you stop being little mary jane rottencrotch and cowboy up. Yea, life is tough for you. It's tough for everybody else too.

At 24 years old, it sounds like the cold reality of the universe not being just a 3 foot cirlce around you has started to hit you. Congratulations. You're a bit late in getting to this point, but you made it.

You need some tough love - and not in that Big Daddy Bear kinda way. Most people, when faced with such drama as this, will go down to the bar and grab a beer and sit on the corner of the bar and cry in it all night long and feel sorry for themselves. It really doesn't help anything.

Don't be a bitch and call this a "depression" or go getting yourself hooked on prozac.

It's fucking simple. Be nice to people. Say hi to the goon scanning your milk and eggs at the grocery store, smile, help some old fart change their tire instead of laughing at them as they sit stranded on the side of the road.

Stop dwelling on your little honeypot. She's probably moved on, just like you should.
