pumpkins.

if you can find a few pumpkins, hack it up with a machete and set the pile of chunks out there for the lil deer to eat. It's like crack for them.

Believe it or not, they do love pumpkins. I tried to grow some on the farm one year, and they destroyed them.

We had a nice crop of pumpkins in our garden this fall and left many on the vine to compost back into the ground.
One morning I saw 2 smaller deer back there enjoying them.
I live in a town of 5000, but its rare to see deer in my yard as I'm in the middle of town.
