Pacific a #14 seed (this after talking them up all game as an excellent team)

let's see:

they are ranked 19th
their rpi is in the mid 20's
a 14 seed means they are the 9th-12th worst team in the field of 64

does he realize how many crap teams from crap conferences get auto bids into the tourney???????

i was wondering of they would get a higher seed this year in round one, meaning 8 or better...not 14th...hell i think they were a 12 or 14 seed last year and wern't this good.

my guess is 8-10 seed

wouldnt be a total shock to see pacific get a double digit seed.

gonzaga was #6 in the nation a few years ago and got a 6-seed.

while i think a 12-seed would be a bit low, wouldnt really surprise me to see pacific be the 10-seed in a 10/7 matchup.

their conference tourney is no gimmie either so if they get bounced in the semifinal or even final round, they could easily be a DD seed.

no way...too many meacs, swacs, ivy leauge's etc...that get into the tourney..plus 12 seeds are usually the last at-large teams from mid=majors that get in....think this pacific team is better than that.

i just re-read your post. 14 seed? yeah thats just stupid on gotleib's part. can see a 10 or 11 seed though. but definitely smokin something with 14.
