Lets start. Monday is fine. You won't have a problem with me keeping it civil. I am not the one that started the name-calling nor did I ever ridicule your picks or methods for picking games. In fact, I didn't even know you existed until you started posting about me everyday.

How about you both start with $1000 on Monday.

You can bet on any sport. You can make as many or few bets as you want. You can bet as much or little as you want.

Guy with most money Monday 12:00 a.m. in two weeks wins.

you started posting about me (constantly) and starting threads abut me daily. Like I said, I didn't even know who you were. Others on here even noticed how out of line you were in your comments to me. I never once went into one your threads until you attacked me. You sir have major issues. Once again, someone finalize the rules and lets get it started. This is at least the third time I have said "finalize the rules and get it started".

Simply more of your lies & propaganda.

All I said is that I want to challenge you. Nothing less, nothing more.

Keep trying though...:SIB[/QUOTE]

Thanks, IO, I didn't see that. In my view, it's too complicated.

There shouldn't be any limit on bet size or number of bets, just equal starting bankrolls. That makes for the purest competition.

Whatever thats fine.

What lines? Opening or Closing?

Can we have a play on the same game?

Whatever the line is when you make the pick, that's the line you post. If anyone pulls some bs, we'llll spot it. Just play in good faith.

As for same game, this is about wagering ability, not gamesmanship, so I would say whoever picks first gets exclusive right to that pick. The other guy can't copy it. However, if one guy picks a side in a game, the other guy is still free to take the other side or either total.

One last question concern.

Say we are on the 2nd to last or last day & one of us is down all that person has to do is play the big dog of the day for the full bank roll & pray it hits & you win, nothing to lose...to me that is not capping. There are many other 'cheap' scenerio's that could arise that no one would do with a real account.

Cant we just make all plays to win $100 on favs/Risk $100 on dogs? It would seem to be way more realistic

I will use BetJam for all my lines.

You could do that, but not everybody manages money the same way. Is the goal purely to see who can pick more 50-50s, or to see who can cap AND manage money so as to amass the most in a set time. Cuz if it's the latter, then I think you have to risk the type of fluke or luck you describe. Not everybody thinks in terms of units, so you are cutting into their strategy some if you don't allow them to bet huge where they think they have an advantage, or to chase when trying to catch up.

I guess you could lose by a fluke, but I suspect that even within two weeks, if you truly are superior, it will show.

I guess it depends on what you and Harvey want to agree on.

I hear ya & I didnt think it would be this difficult to set up.

I just think you will see betting of the whole bankroll late in the competition & that is not realistic at all. Just getting lucky 2 games isnt a good measuring stick.

Winning more @ 100 per game would seem to be a better test.

Maybe our boy Harv can add some input to what he thinks is fair since he is going to be involved.

I don't care. Whatever is decided I will go with. The most logical to me is start with $1000 and pick as many games or as few games as you want and see who's up in two weeks. But again I really don't care. Whatever is decided.

OK.

Here is what we will do:

As many games as you want w/ a max of to win/or risk for dogs $200. A limit has to be imposed or else at the end its stupid when either of us bet the whole bankroll to catch up.

We will use lines from MJ supporter BetJam.

Games are exclusive to whomever posts 1st & all plays must be posted between 9AM & 7 PM EST.

NO EDITING IN SELECTION POSTS OR ITS AN AUTOMATIC LOSS.

Does that work for you?

Harvey?

I wanna see this. I'm think 3 will win, and 3, I prefer your tone and approach. I thought Beantown Jim would kick Raymond's ass, though!

But if you lose, I hope you take the four months AFTER football season.

Anyway, should be an enjoyable contest.

Just waiting for the A-OK from Harv.

I want his WORD that if he loses he is gone for 4 full months starting the day after the contest ends.

I GIVE MY WORD to adhere to that as well. :scared

We can start Monday.

Tapir could you act as like a supervisor of the contest keeping an accurate total of the bankroll's & making sure no BS gets played?

Maybe start up an official thread once we get the A-OK from Mr. Dent?

I have said over and over that I will agree to whatever. Lets get it started.

Look hoss I was trying to be respectful & make sure you approved & didnt want to add or change something, so there is no crying or BS.

A simple OK would have sufficed.

Good Luck starting Monday.

I have not cried once and will not. As long as we both play by the same rules they can be whatever. Good luck.
