Toronto had already given up 5 runs in bottom 8 with 2 OUTS to make it a tie game .. man on first .. then a walk .. so men on first and second 2 outs . ..

and the coach brings in Tanyon Sturtze . .. The batter is Fordyce ..

WHY WOULD U BRING IN STURTZE WHEN FORDYCE IS BATTING .495 AGAINST HIM IN A TIE GAME 2 OUTS AND BOTTOM 8'TH . ..

Tanyon promptly gives up a triple .. . 2 more runs scored .. 7 - 5 now .. amazing .. just as I wrote this another run scored .. 8 runs with 2 outs .. .

and Kock focks up things big time for Colon .. a walk .. single and a HOME RUN to lose the game ..

hmm .. Koch was useless .. and so are all the rest of the relievers ..

love Biddle from Montreal though .. . and Smoltz is smoking as always ..

Don't forget Monsieur Gagne. He's batting 1.000 in save situations if my memory is correct (maybe not with all this booz). He only fawks up when the game is tied. For some reason his head is somewhere else when he's pitching in non-save opps.:shrug:

1.) 8TH OR 9TH INNINGS ...LEAD OFF MAN GETS ON ..TIE GAME...INSTEAD OF ASKING THE NEXT BATTER TO GIVE A BUNT A SHOT WITH A COUPLE OF PITCHES...HE TELLS THE GUY TO SWING AWAY AT THE FIRST PITCH ..THEN ASKS THE GUT TO BUNT ON THE SECOND PITCH....NOW PLEASE TELL ME WITH ALL YOUR VULCAN LOGIC....WHAT IS THE LOGIC BEHIND THAT??????.......IN BOTH SCENARIOS THE GUY DIDNT GET THE BUNT DOWN BECAUSE HE ONLY HAD A PITCH TO DO IT WITH (HOW PROF. Good GOD! WTF were Hoffman and Izturis thinking?? Hoffman needs to have his ass fired, this guy is making all the wrong decisions as a 3rd base coach

Funny thing about Toronto, they've fawked me all year long, in both HOCKEY and BASEBALL. When I bet on them they lose, when I bet against them it's a blowout. When I take the Under, the game goes over by 3rd inning, when I take the Over, the game finishes with 4, 5 runs scored.

This year has been so screwy for me, I just can't get a good handle on things. I've already taken 4 breaks this yr because of all the crazy things that have gone on, especially in the late innings, like you said. It doesn't help when the inept pitching is compounded by dumbass managers making wrong decisions at crucial times of the game.

Now fawking Shuey promptly gives up a go ahead homer when the Dodgers should have been up 2-0 to start the inning.
